Recovering from a Direct Inguinal Hernia and will be off the bike for a while. I’m already having withdrawals watching Val Di Sole DH Finals this morning. It’s hot as balls here and humid as f too so I guess I’m not missing much. Yall stay hydrated out there.

The trail duro is coming along nicely. Upgraded RockShox Pike fork to 160mm from 150mm and rear shock from a RockShox Deluxe 140mm to 145mm Fox Float X elite 150mm. Also got some braking upgrades with a pair of Shimano XTs. I’ve got a 203mm front rotor and adapter coming in soon. This is going to be a proper all mountain bike once finished. What started out as an Instinct C30 is now a C50 or even C70 build with these and previous upgrades.

After a long time of hesitating I’m finally upgrading my GoPro Hero 10 to the Max Lens Mod. I’ve also bought wind muffs and enduro battery for better sound and longer battery life. Did some minor adjustments on protune for better video quality. Can’t wait to test out new settings soon.

Sneak peak spy pix of Huntsvilles newest MTB specific downhill trail on Monte Sano. This trial will feature a wooden wall ride (not built yet), big berms, tables, gaps and drops. It branches off sinks and tally ho continuing down the mountain. Super stoked to ride this and thanks to generous donors and Barry Smith Trails designs for building this soon to be amazing trail.
