Midigeshi Fort Trek is another incredible, hidden gem located in the Madhugiri taluk of Tumkur district. It stands out for its unique history, striking fortifications, and a trail that isn't overwhelmed by crowds.
Most people know Nandi Hills (historically Nandidroog) for its iconic early morning sea of clouds and stunning golden hour sunrises. But if you look closer, these ancient cliffs hold layers of military, architectural, and cultural history that most weekend travelers completely miss.
In this mini-documentary, we trace the mountain’s evolution from its sacred origins to a heavily fortified stronghold.
The Vidhana Soudha and Vikas Soudha stand side-by-side in Bengaluru as the primary centers of governance. It is built in the Neo-Dravidian style, incorporating elements from the Chola, Hoysala, and Vijayanagara empires.
The Adiyogi is a massive technical feat of engineering, recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest bust sculpture. Standing exactly 112 feet tall, 147 feet long, and 82 feet wide, the structure is fabricated from approximately 500 tonnes of mild steel.
I’m still learning the ropes of video editing, and for this trek, I decided to try using AI to help with the audio for the very first time. It was a bit of a challenge to get right, and I’m still figuring things out, but I really wanted to do justice to the silence and the sounds of the trail. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoyed making it, even with the new tweaks!
