Every killer makes a mistake. We show you the moment it happens, and exactly how they got caught.

Fact-checked true crime documentaries built from real police footage and official records. Deep-dive documentaries on killers, their lies, and how they got caught. Educational, newsworthy, and made to promote transparency and public safety.

We cover the cases everyone's talking about, and the ones no one's heard yet.

Catching Killers

We're looking for talented writers to join the Catching Killers team, and we wanted to share it here first!

We started as a standard compilation channel. That got us this far. The next chapter is more ambitious — long-form, single-case police bodycam documentaries built around real footage and real storytelling.

If you're a strong writer and a fan of true crime, we'd love to hear from you.

*THE ROLE*

We handle the grunt work — research, sourcing the footage, organizing the timeline. You take the case we hand you and create the part that actually matters — the story.

Further details on formats and the writing style we're looking for are linked in the application form below.

*DETAILS*

This is a remote position. You can work from wherever you want, with a flexible day-to-day schedule.

Starts as pay-per-project ($800–$1,500 per script), depending on quality, complexity, and experience. Strong writers have the opportunity to evolve into full-time positions over time.

Because of the nature of true crime, this role may involve seeing graphic content.

At Catching Killers, we strive to maintain a motivational, creative work environment where everyone on the team gets to do what they love. We have big plans for this channel, and we need amazing writers to help bring them to life.

Good luck — and we look forward to working with everyone!
