Got a cordless drill in today to do a repack on two 18650 batteries.
The drill is actually a 7.2 volt IKEA FICA brand and only has two 18650 batteries ( date stamped March 2005) in it so it was an easy fix. Small lightweight drill. I'll chuck a photo of the drill in below. I had one years ago and it was a great little drill 👍

Two new batteries, checked the BMS (battery management system board) quick charge on the charger and this drill is up and running again. It's actually my neighbours drill so it was a love job ☺️

I have been told by someone who works in the Australian petroleum industry that Australia has only 20 days supply of fuel left. I would highly recommend you fill any Jerry cans you can. At Aussie Homestead we say:" it's better to be prepared and get disappointed than get disappointed and not prepared.

If you are looking at making strawberry jam try growing Red Cascade strawberries. They are small but very sweet and make the nicest tasting strawberry jam ever.. yummy 😋
