It's not about the book! There is a much bigger story unfolding.
When I signed up to write and publish my first book, Untangled, I didn't realise that the book was only a small part of what I was designed and called to do.
One day, when the book writing process became a little overwelming and I felt tempted to give up, I had a vision. I saw myself as a little girl, making paper crowns for Jesus.
I created the most elaborate crowns with cardboard, stickers, crayons, fake gems, glitter, feathers... anything my toddler self could imagine. It was so much fun! But the BEST part was seeing Jesus wear them with the utmost delight. I couldn't make them fast enough.
Then I saw Him take my paper crowns and hand them to the Father. The Father sent these paper crowns into the night sky, like lanterns. They were lighting the way Home for His children. People, who like me, felt lost and alone in their struggle. People, who needed peace in their hearts and minds.
My story has gone around the world. This morning, I received another email from someone who needed my paper crown. I get these emails regularly.
Your story matters. The light in your heart might be just what someone else needs to take that first step out of their dark pit.
