The production of My Monster Lover may slow down a little for now because we’ve recently been hired by a micro-drama company to produce short-form drama series similar to the ones you usually see on ShortReels and other micro-drama platforms.

But don’t worry! I’ll do my best to multitask and manage both productions so we can still deliver the next episodes of My Monster Lover as soon as possible.

PRODUCTION UPDATE

Since the unlimited plan we were relying on is no longer available, we’ll have to wait for the channel’s earnings before we can continue production using credits.

Because the cost per shot is currently very expensive, we’ll also need to temporarily downgrade our production quality from 720p to 480p so we can still afford to produce new parts of our ongoing series.

Thank you so much to everyone who continues to wait patiently and support our films. Your support means a lot to us, especially during situations like this.

I also want to let everyone know that starting with Against All Odds Part 5, the series will officially move to HIERAYA FILMS. From now on, all of our GL/WLW series will be released on Hieraya Films.

Meanwhile, HIERARKIYA FILMS will return to our regular series and original type of content, so it will also be fair to viewers who prefer non-GL stories.

PRODUCTION UPDATE

I just want to be transparent with everyone about the current situation with our production.

Our series depends heavily on the offers available from different AI platforms. Since we are producing long-form episodes, we usually work with platforms that offer an unlimited generation plan whenever possible.

Unfortunately, producing the series using a credit-based system is simply too expensive. With Seedance 2.5, a 30-second generation can cost around 15,000 credits, which is roughly ₱1,500 here in the Philippines. For a long-form episode, the production cost would become extremely high, and the revenue from a single part would not be enough to cover it.

The bad news is that because of the huge demand right now, the servers are struggling with the volume of users. Under the unlimited plan, what used to take around 10 minutes of waiting time can now take almost 8 hours for a single generation.

Because of this, I would like to allow the situation to calm down first before continuing full production. I don’t want to rush the episodes and sacrifice the quality just to release something quickly.

We could technically return to a credit-based workflow using Seedance 2.0, but that would mean going back to around 480p quality. To be completely transparent, I’m personally not satisfied with the results anymore, especially compared with what we can achieve with the newer model.

I hope you can understand the situation. I know many of you are waiting for the next episodes, and I truly appreciate your patience and continued support.

Production is not cancelled. We are simply waiting for the system to become more stable so we can continue without sacrificing the quality of the series. ❤️

Hi everyone! Just a quick update regarding the upcoming episode.

We’re currently transitioning to Seedance 2.5, and it works quite differently compared to 2.0, which we’ve already gotten used to. Because we’re still learning and adapting to the new model, we can’t promise that this episode will have the exact same level of quality and consistency as our previous releases.

This is part of the adjustment process as we learn how to get the best results from 2.5. We’ll continue improving as we move forward.
