Recently I was contacted by Chris over at Chris's Retro Gaming who very kindly asked me to be involved in a collaboration video he was putting together on Amiga gameplay. It is a subject very close to both our hearts and I was delighted to be involved. So we decided to see how games of film tie ins from a few games of this era played out and how they stand up now

Chris provides the gameplay for Batman The Movie, Back To The Future 2 and Ghostbusters 2 whilst I offer my own opinions and evaluations on the games and also how they compare to some of the sequences from the films they are based upon. It is over on Chris channel and I hope you will go across and give Chris some support. I shouted his channel out a while back and he really has done a great job on it

One year ago today we lost a very dear friend and a member of the retro gaming community. Jon, known to all as Retro Kit, was one of the nicest, kindest, generous and amazing people it was my privilege to have known. His passing has left a gap in my life which since then has been very hard to fill. I miss our random WhatsApp messages, I miss our game hunts in all weathers but above all I miss spending time with him. My heart goes out to Nikki and the kids, as well as Jon's family on this very sad day and wanting you to know he won't be forgotten

If we can all do one thing over the next few days, let us have a game of Bubble Bobble on any format - it was Jon's favourite after all and take time to remember him
