Gimmicking

The Prologue and Chapter 1 for Paper Mario Shadows is available to play now! Check it out on Gamebanana here: gamebanana.com/mods/530913


Shadows are difficult, modified versions of enemies. Their designs are either completely new or based on a design from another Mario game (ex. The Shadow Bob-Ulk's design is based on the King Bob-Omb from Super Mario 64).

Strategic use of the badges and items are required to play this mod. More changes below:

- The player levels up much faster than before due to the harder enemies.
- New enemies and enemy designs
- New items in overworld
- Enemies get +1 tier (ex. A Goomba becomes a Gloomba or a Koopa becomes a Dark Koopa)
- Updated Beastiary
- Balanced badges (Badges that rarely get used are free and badges that are heavily used cost more BP)
- Audience is reworked and had several design changes.
- Enemies use badges and items more frequently
- 3 Double Pain badges are available at beginning. Equipping one will also give you +2 BP.
- Warning: Contains Mr. L
