Take a few small sized onions, wash them and peel. Make a crisscross cut. In apan take about 1.5tbsp of oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and hing.
Add onions and basic masalas like haldi mirchi coriander powder, kashmiri laal mirch powder, little garam masala, chaat or amchoor powder and salt to taste.Add about half cup water. Cover and let it cook for 5-6 mins, or till onion becomes soft and translucent.Take some fresh curd. Add roasted cumin powder. Switch off the flame.Pour this mix. Mix well.
Switch on flame. Add roasted peanut powder. Mix well. Cook for another minute or two.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.Tasty Rajasthani dahi pyaaz sabji is ready.
