हाल ही में मैं Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor की शूटिंग के लिए Koraput गया था। वापसी में मैंने Koraput से Jagdalpur Passenger Train से सफर किया और पूरी journey अपने फोन से शूट भी की। 📱🎥

Built through the challenging hills & dense forests of Koraput, this section features major structures including viaducts, bridges, animal underpasses, & the Exit-14 interchange.

Most of the major construction work is now complete, while some finishing & minor works are still pending. One of the most beautiful stretches of the entire Raipur–Visakhapatnam Corridor. 🇮🇳

This is Exit-14, which provides access towards Koraput & Jeypore. The interchange has been developed amidst the hills & dense green landscape, making this one of the most visually stunning sections of the entire corridor.

This is Exit-23, the Sabbavaram Interchange, located at the endpoint of the Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor in Andhra Pradesh.

Here, the new corridor connects with NH-16, the Chennai–Kolkata Highway & an important part of India's Golden Quadrilateral network.

The interchange is now clearly taking shape, with almost all the major loops & ramps visible. A significant amount of construction has already been completed, although some finishing work is still pending.

Once operational, this interchange will provide an important connection between the new Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor & the existing NH-16 network, improving access towards Visakhapatnam & other major destinations along the east coast.

🚧 Railway Over Bridge | NH-130CD Package-04
One of the important structures coming up in Package-04 of the Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor is this Railway Over Bridge (ROB).

The new six-lane highway has to cross the existing railway line here, & construction is progressing on the ROB.

At present, the steel structure on one side has been installed, while the steel structure on the other side is still pending. The next major stage will include deck slab construction, followed by the road surface & finishing works.

Structures like this are critical because the highway has to cross the railway corridor while maintaining the existing railway operations.

The Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor (NH-130CD) is a six-lane, access-controlled greenfield #highway being developed to improve connectivity between Central India & the Visakhapatnam region.

In Andhra Pradesh, Package-04 covers the Kantakapalle–Sabbavaram section, from approximately Km 445+100 to Km 464+662.

A major part of the work in the earlier sections has already progressed significantly, but some stretches in Package-04 faced delays due to land acquisition & other construction-related issues.

The good news is that work has now started on these pending stretches, & the progress is clearly visible on the ground. Earthwork, structures & other major highway components are moving ahead.

This package will eventually connect the new corridor with the existing highway network near Sabbavaram & NH-16.
