Nrityabhav Kathak Academy, founded on 3rd May 2016, is rooted in the Banaras Gharana tradition and offers systematic classical training in Kathak. The academy focuses on practical skills, rhythm, expression, and theoretical knowledge, while regularly organizing performances, annual programs, cultural festivals, and lecture-demonstrations to provide students with valuable stage experience.

Guru Bhagyashree Kulkarni, a Kathak Alankar with over 22 years of training and performance, leads the academy. She holds Master’s degrees in Kathak and Sanskrit, with formal training in Tabla, Classical Vocal Music, and proficiency in Harmonium. Dedicated to preserving the traditional values of Kathak, she guides students towards artistic, academic, and cultural excellence.
