Most people focus on the top thread, but your bobbin thread plays just as big of a role in stitch quality. If your stitches look uneven, loopy, or messy underneath, the bobbin is usually the culprit.

In today’s lesson, we’re breaking down:
✔️ Does bobbin thread need to match your top thread?
✔️ When to use pre-wound bobbins vs. winding your own
✔️ Why lighter-weight bobbin thread can improve stitch balance
✔️ Common bobbin mistakes that cause tension issues

Your stitches are only as good as what’s happening on BOTH sides of the fabric. Once you understand bobbin thread, your sewing will instantly look more polished and professional.
