Influenza Session #6 - Marshall Crenshaw // DEEP DIVE

Who still remembers Marshall Crenshaw? He wrote 80s smash hit My Favorite Waste of Time, starred as Buddy Holly in biopic La Bamba and had a whole career going on his own in the early 80s when he was the upcoming man alongside acts like Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe and Pretenders. Somehow despite excellent songs he lost his momentum but kept writing songs for others and up till this day he still has a very active solo career going. I discovered him waaaay to late, only about ten years ago through a retro blog covering Cynical Girl but Someday Someway left such an impact when it popped out of my speakers the first time I put on his retrospective Best Of album.
