Hi, friend! I'm Rachel Rhee.
After 15+ years in corporate, I realized that "success" on paper often came at the cost of my health. Following a kidney cancer diagnosis, I’m now designing a different kind of life—one focused on ease, not stress.
This channel is a space for high-achievers, recovering perfectionists, and corporate refugees ready to put down the heavy mental load. I share the systems and habits I use to replace burnout with balance.
On this channel, you can expect:
Digital Wellness: Practical tools (like my Notion templates) to declutter your mind and reset your relationship with tech.
Nourishment & Recovery: Food and lifestyle vlogs centered on resting and refueling, not just "doing."
Honest Reflections: Real talk about health challenges, career pivots, and finding joy after the hustle.

Kinda chic to say “I need more time”: Appointments move fast, especially at big hospitals with tight schedules. When I can tell the doctor feels rushed, I get anxious and start rushing too, which means I forget half of what I wanted to ask. So I started coming in with questions written down beforehand and if I run out of time before I run out of questions, I say so.
Kinda chic to get a second opinion: What one doctor recommends isn’t automatically your only option. Different doctors have different experience, different training, and different ways of approaching the same case. What one says isn’t the only path forward. Don’t be afraid to seek other opinions. It’s YOUR body.
Kinda chic to say “that’s not the right plan for me”: Just because a treatment plan is presented to you since it’s the standard protocol doesn’t mean it’s right for you, right now. You’re allowed to ask why, ask what else exists, and say it out loud if something doesn’t sit right.
Kinda chic to trust your body’s signals: the chronic fatigue, the gut issues, the skin flare-ups, the periods that hurt more than they should (or they’re non-existent); you notice these things for a reason. Don’t wait for someone else to tell you they matter.
Kinda chic to build a whole care team: doctor, nutritionist, therapist, acupuncturist, someone who just checks in on you. No single person can hold all of it. It truly does take a village to support your healing. 🫶

Are you average? It’s a question I found myself asking as I read about an interesting study that differentiates elite vs average performers. Watch this week’s episode to learn all about it!

One of my favorite meal “hacks” is to make a big batch of soup that will last for days. And even better when it’s known for it’s healing properties. Miyeok guk otherwise known as Korean seaweed soup is always eaten on birthdays, for postpartum care, and after surgery for healing.
