Most WW2 videoโs end on 8 May 1945. This channel often picks up from there: what happened to the leaders, families, soldiers, and institutions of Nazi Germany in the decades that followed. Alongside that, the biographies, battles, and decisions that shaped the war itself.

In November 1944, a German army captain walked into a ruined building in Warsaw and found a starving Jewish pianist hiding in the attic. Instead of reporting him, he kept him alive. Most people who've seen The Pianist know the scene, but almost nobody knows what happened to that captain after the war. Check out the video here๐
