I can't believe I forgot about this Nitro RC car.

This is my 20 year old Thunder Tiger EB4 that I haven't seen or had running in 10 years.

Have you ever rented out a house?

We became landlords this year ad it's been extremely rewarding. We were able to help out a young family who needed a place to stay for a few years, as buying didn't make sense for them. They have been great tenants and it has been a really goo learning experience.

If you have ever tried to remove trim without damaging your wall then you will know that it is really challenging.

There is a tool that is designed to remove trim, but I found an even better way and you probably have this tool in your shed.

We are 2 weeks into 2025 and I'm looking back on what we achieved in 2024, and it was a phenomenal year.

- We bought a new house
- We became landlords
- We lived in a room for 4 months, 2 dogs included, in between
- We renovated the entire new house
- We visited some cool places (Lake Tahoe, Death Valley, and the Hoover Dam to name a few)
- We saw ADELE at her 3rd to last show in Vegas
- I had my best ever year on Youtube
- My wife had one of her best years as a Wedding photographer (If you're getting married and need a photographer, I have a good recommendation)
- I invested in a branding session and look pretty good, if I do say so myself.

I'm in the depths of planning for 2025 and it's going to be a great year. We have some awesome videos coming up, projects are starting to stack up, trips are getting planned, and I am even finding some time to squeeze in some time to work on things not shown on the channel before. There is a video dropping soon that is a blast from the past for me and we will be bringing back the MG later this year. If you know, you know, and for those who don't know, you will find out soon.

Youtube has been a great outlet for me to share my knowledge, learn new things, and to work on my filming skills. It's at this point where people say that thing are changing, well for me, if it isn't broke, don't change. What we will be doing is posting more helpful content for homeowners than last year.

If you're new and have never seen one of my videos before, check out my trailer and subscribe if you like what you see - https://youtu.be/_hV63NIkiKo

If you want to support the channel in more ways, I will be releasing a membership later this year with the top membership having a free tool giveaway every month. I also have some branded T-shirts that are available and plan to have a few more products to share soon.

Thanks to all those people who subscribed, liked, and commented in 2024, and continue to support the channel.

Removing carpet grippers has to be one of the most frustrating jobs I have done when renovating our new house.

That was until I found that I had a secret weapon sitting in my garage that I could use that would make the process go 100X faster.

Do you hang and take down Christmas lights every year?

I installed these Lumary Permanent lights this year and I never have to take lights down, or put them up again. You can program these lights to be different colors for different holidays, so they can be used all year round.

If you hang Christmas lights every year, you have probably put them up, and then taken them down within a 5 week window.

I installed these permanent lights from Lumary and I never have to take them down, or put up Christmas lights again. My wife is happy, and I'll never have be told that I didn't put the lights up early enough again. They are designed to be left outdoors all year, can be programmed to have different scenes for different holidays, or you can go wild, and add a nice glow to your house.

You can set a timer and control all of the functions for the lights in the Lumary app, which I found to be super easy to use.

With the weather starting to turn cold, and the holidays are now over. Are you planning to tackle any indoor DIY projects?

I personally have to paint kitchen cabinets, paint the kitchen, and start installing trim on the entire house. Not looking forward to any of these. LOL

Using a paint sprayer for the first time can sound very daunting, but is much easier than you may think.

The key to good results when using a paint sprayer is all in the set up, and dialling in your sprayer.

In this video I show you hot to get your wagner paint sprayer set up and ready to paint - https://youtu.be/ax62YhVO7MY
