Welcome to Jared Weber, where Metal meets Outlaw Country! Jared began as a country/outlaw country songwriter, who was drawn to raw storytelling, but his darker, intense writing led him into rock and metal. Today, his music fuses heavy riffs, rap-influenced rhythm, and country roots into a sound that’s real, raw, and unmistakably his own. Jared writes the lyrics and uses AI to generate singing, music, and short videos, showcasing the full potential of his writing. Jared now affectionately refers to his fans as "The Iron Rats 59 Legion" (formerly known as 'the rats' and was changed to avoid confusion with other fan groups). This was inspired by his song Rat Roddin'.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to formally introduce myself and tell you a little about who I am.

My name is Jared Weber. I live in a suburb of Saint Louis, Missouri. I work a normal job like you and live a normal life. I enjoy playing drums, spending time with my wife and daughters, working on cars, riding motorcycles, building things, and writing songs.

I know there’s been some curiosity circulating online about my process, so I want to be transparent.

Does A.I. write the song lyrics for me? No. I am the author of my lyrics.

How do I use A.I. in the writing process?I use it as a tool, not as the creator. Like a painter uses a brush. I primarily use A.I. as a dictionary, a thesaurus, and a rhyme finder. I bounce ideas off it and collect feedback. At most, A.I. might function like a co-writer in the sense that it helps me explore metaphors, refine a line, or shape the direction of a verse. Think of it as feedback. All songwriters get feedback from someone; this is just one of the tools I use.

What about the music, do I sing or record instruments myself? The instrumentals are A.I. generated. I provide the creative direction and vision for each track. Sometimes the software gets close in just a few takes. Other times it can take 20 or 30 versions before it matches what I hear in my head. Sometimes I guide it with specifics like BPM, guitar tuning, tone, overall feel and I will shape the production until it aligns with my vision.

Do I own my songs? Yes. I own the copyright to my lyrics as the author, and I hold the commercial rights to the A.I. generated tracks through my subscription.

Why use A.I. at all? Because it gives me a way to bring my writing to life. I can’t afford a full band and endless studio hours, but I can afford the tools that allow me to share my work with the world. A.I. gives independent writers like me a medium to showcase our songs.

What are my fans called? The Iron Rats 59 Legion.

Where are my listeners located? My largest audiences are in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and the United States. I also have supporters in Europe and Canada.

35,000 strong!
I’m honestly blown away. Thank you to every single one of you who’s watched, listened, commented, shared, and believed in this music. What started as songs written from real life, real pain, and real fire has turned into a community I’m proud to stand with.
You didn’t just hit subscribe — you backed a vision, a sound, and a grind that refuses to quit. I don’t take that lightly. Every view, every message, every late-night listen fuels the next track.
This is just the beginning. Bigger songs, louder stories, and no backing down.
Much respect and love —
