Hi, fellow guitar enthusiast, I hope you're well and staying out of trouble.

I'm writing because I think I should explain to any of you who have been enjoying my fingerstyle lessons, and have been learning the pieces by watching the videos here at YouTube, why I have recently started blurring out the videos. It wasn't an easy decision but times are tough and the only way I can stay afloat as a guitarist and educator is to sell the tab and notation of my arrangements. More and more, the era of 'free content' is disappearing from the Internet. I have been resisting the trend for a long a time now but I simply can't afford anymore to give these lessons away for free. Like everyone else, I have bills to pay -- lots of them -- and it was either this or seek employment stacking shelves at my local supermarket and at my age, 71, I don't think I'd have much luck getting hired. I can now only hope that my decision will lift sales and keep the wolf from my door for a while longer.

I also hope you stick by me. I've had a few abusive comments from some who think I have no right to earn a living from teaching my brand of guitar, but mostly I've had positive feedback, which I appreciate greatly. Thank you to those who have written to wish me well.
