🚧 **A BIG Ranch Upgrade Is Coming!** 🚧

We have wonderful news: **fiber-optic internet is officially coming to The Robertson Rottie Ranch!** 🎉

Because of our mountain location, a lot of construction is needed to bring the new service allllllllll the way up to the Ranch. It's a big expense. The best estimate we have right now is **“a couple of weeks,”** so our livestreams will remain offline while we wait for the installation. We will keep you updated!

But the Ranch isn’t going quiet! In the meantime:

This is a **major upgrade** for the Ranch and our livestream network—and we truly believe it will be worth the wait!

A quick livestream update from the Ranch 🐦💧

Due to an unexpected service-provider issue, we’ve temporarily reduced our live lineup to two favorites: Songbird Porch and Whispering Waters. The habitats and cameras are all doing well—we simply need to resolve the connection issue before bringing the regular lineup back online.

We also have something beautiful waiting in the wings! Our brand-new Songbird Stream habitat has now joined Whispering Waters, featuring cascading water and a peaceful new place for our songbirds to visit. We had hoped to introduce her today, and we’re working toward bringing her live as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and for continuing to spend time with us at the Ranch. We hope to have our regular livestream lineup flowing again soon! 💚

Hi Friends! We will have our livestreams running today until around 10AM, and then taking a short break. Hummingbird Hollow and Whispering Waters will be getting their permanent cables ran and we will also be doing the install cable for our new Songbird Stream! Hi everyone! Our Hummingbird Hollow stream is temporarily off line. We are awaiting Birdfy's resolution since it refuses to stream. Our Blue Ridge Birdbath is also still offline as we await the replacement from Birdfy after it suffered complete pump and camera failure. We will get them back online as soon as we receive replacements. In the meantime, we are also designing a permanent addition to Whispering Waters Mountain Wildlife Oasis! It will be the Whispering Waters Songbird Spring! We will keep you updated, and thank you for your patience!

💙 Blue Ridge Birdbath Update 🐦

Our Blue Ridge Birdbath livestream is temporarily offline.

Unfortunately, the birdbath experienced a hardware failure today. The fountain pump stopped circulating water, and the unit went offline, so we made the decision to end the stream rather than leave it running with equipment that wasn't performing properly.

The good news is that Birdfy is already sending us a replacement, and we'll have the stream back online as soon as it arrives.

Every challenge is an opportunity to improve, and while we're waiting, we're also exploring ideas for a permanent build for a future Blue Ridge Birdbath. 🐦💧

We're excited to introduce Mountain Window, our newest livestream overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Sunrise is the heart of Mountain Window.

Each morning, watch the first rays of sunlight slowly paint the Blue Ridge Mountains in shades of gold, orange, pink, and crimson as a new day begins. No two sunrises are ever the same. Some mornings bring brilliant fiery skies, others soft pastel colors, drifting fog through the valleys, or towering clouds catching the morning light. Every sunrise is nature creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

As the day unfolds, enjoy peaceful mountain scenery, changing clouds, soaring hawks, and dramatic summer thunderstorms rolling across the ridges. After a passing storm, you may be rewarded with a rainbow arching across the mountains.

When night falls, Mountain Window becomes a peaceful place to watch the moonrise, stars shine over the Blue Ridge, distant lightning flicker on the horizon during summer storms, and, during strong geomagnetic storms, perhaps even catch the Aurora Borealis dancing above the treeline.

As the seasons change, you'll watch these mountains transform from vibrant summer greens to brilliant autumn color, quiet winter snowfalls, and the fresh greens of spring.

This is our real view from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. No recordings. No loops. Just the mountains, the sky, the weather, and the changing seasons exactly as they happen.

We're still fine-tuning a few things, including our automated schedule and camera setup, so you'll see Mountain Window continue to improve over the coming weeks. Thank you for joining us as we build something special together.

Just a little over a week ago, Whispering Waters was one galvanized tub sitting on the lawn with a little pump. Our deer made it clear during our heat wave our little birdbath was NOT going to cut it.

That's how it started.

One tub.

One idea.

Today...

Welcome to Whispering Waters Mountain Wildlife Oasis.

Three elevated wildlife watering stations.

Four water features.

Landscaped with deer-resistant plants.

Designed for birds, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, wild turkeys... and whatever other mountain visitors decide to stop by.

This isn't just a fountain anymore.

It's become a destination.

And we're still just getting started.

Every stone...

Every wildlife visitor...
