From the familiar heat and sandstorm of Al Qunfudah, Saudi Arabia, to the bustling, restaurant-rich streets of Aksarben, Omaha, Nebraska, USA, searching for a "why" that hasn't quite revealed itself yet. Success, they say, lies in your confusion. But no one says how long it would take.
The Long Flight to Clarity
The transition wasn't just measured in the 7,000+ miles between Jeddah and Omaha, Nebraska; it was measured in the silence of my own thoughts.
When I left Saudi Arabia, my suitcases were not only packed with clothes, but they were also heavy with "maybes." Maybe I’d find a career in the high-tech corridors of US healthcare. Maybe I’d find a version of myself that didn't feel like a translated version of someone else.
In those first few weeks in the States, the confusion was loud. Everything felt a bit "off-beat." The air smelled different, the pace of work felt like a sprint I hadn't trained for, and even the street vibes of Omaha, with its mix of historic grit and modern luxury, felt like a puzzle I couldn't solve. The programming and query languages didn’t sound like English, and the advanced statistical class felt like a trance. I’d find myself walking through the streets of Omaha on my way to and from school, looking at my reflection in the shop/restaurant windows, wondering if I had traded my comfort for a mystery, I wasn't ready to solve.
I started seeing how my unique perspective as a woman who understands three very different worlds, from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia, and now in the USA, shouldn’t be a source of confusion, but a superpower. From clinical medicine and public health to informatics (tech + healthcare).
I’m still far from having every answer. There are days when I still feel like that lady stepping off the plane, who didn’t understand her journey. But as I look at the intersection of technology and healthcare, it’s finally starting to make sense. I didn’t come here to find a pre-made path; I came here to build one that only I can walk.
The confusion is fading. The "vibes" are finally matching the vision. I will get there!
Does this capture the feeling of your own journey? Let’s keep the comment section motivating.

Stop Using AI Just to "Write Emails" – Here’s How to Actually Disrupt Your Industry in 2026
Most businesses are stuck using AI as a basic secretary. But if you want to scale while others are just "optimizing," you need to think bigger.
1. Build a "Digital Twin" of Your Best Customer
Stop guessing what will resonate. Use AI to analyze your past 50 successful sales and create a "Persona Bot." Ask it: "If I launch this offer at this price, what’s your biggest objection?" It’s like having a 24/7 focus group that actually knows your data.
2. Predictive "Churn Alarms"
AI doesn't just track who is buying; it can predict who is about to leave. Modern tools can spot patterns in customer behavior (like a sudden drop in login frequency or sentiment changes in emails) before the customer even realizes they're unhappy. Fix the relationship before it breaks.
3. AI-Driven "Opportunity Scanning"
Instead of manual market research, set an AI agent to crawl industry forums, Reddit, and reviews for your competitors. Have it look specifically for "I wish I did X" competitors. Use those gaps to build your next product feature or marketing hook by Friday.
4. Automated "Micro-Moment" Personalization
Move beyond "Hi [Name]." Use AI to trigger personalized offers based on real-world events. Is it raining in London? Automatically send your London leads a "Rainy Day Discount." AI connects your CRM to the real world in real-time.
The bottom line: In 2026, AI isn't about replacing humans, it’s about giving humans the "superpowers" to be more creative and strategic.
Which of these sounds like a game-changer for your business? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇
