Things have been busy lately in the best way. So, knitting and crochet have settled into the background and I am aware that I’m not posting as often. I’m prioritising the longer videos over shorts, but also prioritising walls over yarn. It will be incredible to finish and move into this house - even though it’s a long way off. There may be a long form video about the process at some point… but for now it’s still tiny living off-grid, but with a side of construction.

It’s Good Friday here in New Zealand. Rocky and I are are happily dressing in matching outfits and my Easter Bunny is finished 😂 he still needs more tweaks before I’m happy with the pattern, but at least he’s hanging out with the pair of us in the meantime 😂

Crazy to think that just 2 weeks ago we hit 2,000 followers on YouTube, and now 2,000 on Ribblr! It was only a few months ago that we hit 1,000 over there. Thank you to everyone. (You would think this would make me post more on instagram, but I’m terrible at that 😂 but follow me there if you want sporadic updates). And Rocky is doing well post-op, and hopefully this has hit the nail on the head and his pain spasms will cease, as I would love him to get a few more good years under the belt. 💕

So, my ever so slightly wonky sidekick hasn’t been doing so well of late… he is more elderly than he looks and I do always worry that his next vet visit will be his last. This has been a tough week for him health-wise but maybe we have found a cause. It’s still going to be a process but I’m hopeful that he has a few more good years in him. My knitting posts have been a bit more sporadic and may remain so for a tad, but hopefully not for long. And I’m sure he will be back crashing my videos in no time.

Meet “Boots”. She’s an orphan lamb and was half of my birthday present from my farming in-laws. Don’t worry, she’ll have a normal sheep life once she is weaned. I’m also excited to begin a very, very long project of raising my own jumper….
