Sean Fraser:Got to cap off a great day in Alberta by joining Canada’s 10 newest citizens on the ice for their first “O Canada” at the @nhlflames game tonight! Welcome to Canada!
Sean Fraser;Dental coverage for eligible children under 12 is now available!
Your child’s ability to access oral healthcare should not be defined by your family income, and we have committed to ensuring access for children while we roll out a national dental strategy for all.
As of today, your children may now access dental coverage and receive up to $650 per year if your family has an income below $90,000!
To apply, you must not have any dental insurance. Payments will be given upfront so that you have the money in your pocket when you need it for your child, meaning you don’t need to worry about finding the cash first.

Sean Fraser: Huge news on childcare in Nova Scotia!
We know that childcare fees cost families thousands of dollars each year and have been a consistent barrier for parents, and disproportionately women, who wish to pursue an education or seek to enter the workforce.
Minister Karina Gould visited Nova Scotia today to formally announce that by the end of this year, our province will see a 50% reduction in the cost of childcare, saving families around $500 every month, or $6,000 a year!
We are continuing our work towards lowering fees even further and will reach an average of just $10 a day by 2026 which will save households money, create jobs, and grow our economy.
This is smart policy, and I look forward to seeing families in our community benefit from these savings!
Charles Sousa: Kicked off the holidays tonight with the Port Credit BIA and members of the community with the lighting of the Port Credit Lighthouse. A big shout-out to the BIA for decorating downtown with festive nutcrackers. I'm looking forward to the other #WinterINthePort festivities throughout December and January.
Charles Sousa:Thank you for your kind words and endorsement, Patti. It means so much to have the support of a tremendous champion of the arts in Mississauga and the Canadian music industry.
Iqra Khalid: Great to have a visit from the Mississauga Dolphins this evening!
Thank you all that you do to support youth in sport in our riding. Sports build up important life skills and healthy habits for young Canadians, and I’m glad that our federal government continues to invest in these opportunities.
