Quick channel update

I go through a lot of obsessions. The whole Blake / Justin lawsuit saga has held my attention for so long because it’s honestly crazy what rich, powerful people can get away with — and the psychology of those who follow them. They’ll bend and twist the law to protect them, but then use those same laws to attack anyone not “worthy” of their adoration. It’s sick, but also fascinating. Making songs about it has been my way of calling out just how absurd it all is.

That said, I seem to be pivoting with the kinds of songs I’ve been inspired to make lately. The new Pokémon game is coming soon, and my every-three-years-or-so Pokémon obsession has come back full force.

I still want to make more lawsuit songs, but I’ll probably wait until there are bigger developments. Right now it feels like constant chaos with the smaller players, and honestly, it would be a bit much to make an anti-Isabela track — even though her (or her lawyers’) actions have been pretty deplorable. My goal with those songs has always been to expose hypocrisy or break down the confusing twists of the case, so I’m waiting for the next big thing that really deserves a music breakdown.

I know there’s not a lot of overlap between people following the It Ends With Us lawsuits and people into Pokémon, so don’t feel pressured to watch those if it’s not your thing. I just wanted to let you know I made this channel as a creative outlet for whatever random song ideas I get — so the posts might be all over the place.

Not gonna lie, with all the recent Lively/Baldoni news, I'm feeling deflated. Team justice and truth keeps taking hits from the bully. No one likes to see that, and even worse they are being protected by the institutions that are supposed to rule with fairness.

I want to make another song for this saga but I'm waiting for the next thing to drop that doesn't make me lose hope.

In the meantime, I put out an album of tracks that aren’t tied to the Blake stuff. Just some other thoughts I had to get out.
