From overcoming challenges as a young boy to faithfully serving God’s children throughout his life, President Oaks’s example reminds us that the Lord can guide and strengthen us through every stage of life.

We are grateful for his testimony, his wisdom, and his unwavering dedication to Jesus Christ. What a blessing it is to have a living prophet to lead and inspire us today.

What’s the point of trying to do the right thing if it only seems to make life harder?

As you studied the scriptures with Come, Follow Me this week, you might’ve felt a bit like Joseph. Maybe you’ve been trying to be more faithful, but instead of miracles, things just seem to keep getting more difficult.

“You may have days when you feel betrayed or hurt. Other people’s actions can have big consequences. But as you are faithful to God and try to forgive others, you’ll be strengthened and blessed” (“When Doing the Right Thing Seems to Make Your Life Harder,” For the Strength of Youth, Mar. 2026).
