Hey, I’m Helen Martyniuk — a Ukrainian pianist (and a bit of an organist!) based in England. I’m completely obsessed with pianos, and recently I’ve started playing the organ too, which was life-changing. I also work with over 250 pianos at one of the largest piano shops in the UK — Sherwood Phoenix Pianos — my dream job. It’s the kind of work I’d happily do just for fun, not for the money.
Honestly, my mission is simple: I want to inspire as many people as possible to play the piano and the organ. Music has made my life so much better, and I want to share that joy with others. If I can give someone a little smile or a sense of meaning through these dark times, I’m happy.

It’s officially my first ever recording of a proper organ, my friend & colleague Callum also helped me to record it and it was a real fun to make this happen. We had a limited amount of time and the it took us only 2 attempts.
I’ve uploaded a video on Youtube 2 months ago and a lot of people were asking to record a proper version of it, so they could listen on other streaming platforms… and I did it. Hope you enjoy it ❤️
I am not going to lie, I am obsessed how organ sounds in the middle of the recording.. it’s LOUD.

I am 23 today! 🥳
I actually feel much older and I also can write a very boring post about this day, but I’ve decided to show you couple of photos that I’ve just found where I am just enjoying life…
I always loved the date I was born, which is 08.08 and if you do some maths this year for 2024 (2+0+2+4=8) will be also 8! I am truly lucky to have “8” as my lucky number.
I had a crazy year with ups and downs, but the highlight were:
* I’ve been to USA 2 times and even visited Hawai!
* Travelled a lot around UK with my the best partner Stephen
* Appeared on a show “The Piano” on channel 4.
* I’ve bought my first car and called it “coopick”.
* I’ve played my 2 solo concerts and for the first time I’ve played an organ in public, it was unbelievable.
* Improved my piano and organ skill very much.
* Helped a lot of people to find their perfect piano and I cried (with happy tears) so many times after people leaving the showroom being very happy and sending me cards with “thank you Helen!!”.
* I’ve learned to make a good coffee and now I make a good latte art.
* I’ve organised a trip for my parents to the UK for the whole week and they managed to see everything from London to Glasgow.
But also I was exploring a lot about myself and people around and I also, like so many people:
* I was stressing about pointless things
* I was VERY scared to start driving and I thought it’s not for me at all.
* I was giving up piano and performing so many times
* I was angry on everyone because I made a picture in my head and had too many expectations
* I was overthinking a lot and getting upset about not real things
* I cried a lot because my family had problems
* I also cried a lot because of the war in my country
* And I also cried because I was just sad
AND it’s ok, because I am a person who is learning and exploring every single day about myself and others.
This year was definitely life changing and I hope this 23th year of my life will be another cool and adventurous year in my life.

“Bee Theme” is 1 year today! 🐝
I can’t believe, it’s been an amazing year, Bee Theme has changed my life, brought me to playing a real church organ and brought me A LOT OF amazing people around the world.
Thank you everyone for loving the Bee Theme and playing it.

Well, I am very excited to announce that I will be featuring on Channel 4 “The Piano”, episode 5, Liverpool!!!
It’s been a fantastic experience, I absolutely loved it and, of course, I’ve met so many amazing people and I was so lucky to work with an amazing Love Productions team.
Thanks everyone for supporting me and big thanks to Stephen Pringle for being my supportive partner. He is a hero and my legend❤️
