Got the samples of the yugioh playmats / desktop mats so I can test them and not to brag…they did their thing. The design is properly placed and I’m going to give it a 1 month testing to see durability then wash it 3 times to see if there is fading issues. This scene is where the yugioh IRL episode was supposed to end. I don’t like the ending so extending it by 9 scenes. Stardust dragon about to be EXTRA lol. So a bit of a delay (yes the rest of the short is finished, I just don’t like the ending). A ton of CGI work for the next 8 scenes but gonna be worth it.

Some early shots from the master file. This is 0:23 into the IRL yugioh duel [Nico vs Void]. It’s not good vs evil. It’s an aura farm off and I refuse to lose.

Half way through it becomes 2D animated. This why I’ve been only releasing 1 video a day. I’ve been perfecting the hologram summoning look.
