Guys! I am thrilled to do Feel Good Fridays with all of you this year over at my Facebook page! With all the fun (and tears) we had with Senti Sundays in 2021, I look forward to seeing all of you every last Friday of the month at 8pm for more fun, more laughter, and more kantahan!

Easter Sunday--a perfect time to contemplate of letting go of whatever it is that the past might have been haunting us with.
For me, it has been a little over two years now since I've been carrying this heavy burden of why's and if's--"If only I've been a better partner. Why did I choose to give up on us? If only I had more courage to take those six years further to maybe, only God knows how long."
I've gone through nights when I drown myself in tears listening to songs that reminded me of moments I wanted to go back to with you. There have been moments that I catch myself unconsciously crying with reasons I am not even aware of.
Will I heal? Will I ever be able to let go of this dreaded feeling of guilt? Will I finally give myself that forgiveness for letting go of someone I thought wasn't important in my life anymore? I can only continue to hope and wish that I could.
This song will always remind me of these thoughts.
When I woke up today, I heard a couple of news that really made me feel a little depressed. COVID19 is starting to feel more and more real because the numbers are starting to become names and faces.
With this anxiety, I did my weekend chores and for some reason, played this worship song by Don Moen--something I grew up listening to because of my Tita Ebe (+) and Tito Dons (+). And then it hit me--I am getting worried about this situation when the Lord has assured us that He is always in control and that things happen for a reason. I will have to admit, I felt humbled and emotional, it took me several tries to finish recording this song. I was crying, literally tears flowing down my face, I wasn't sure why but I knew He wanted me to feel something today. And I did. After pouring my heart out, I humbly asked and prayed for courage, joy, and compassion. Courage to continue being resilient and determined that this too, shall pass. Joy to get me through these trying times with a sane mind. And Compassion to not forget to share even the least of my blessings with those who might need it more.
May this song reassure you that HE IS IN CHARGE AND THAT GOD WILL MAKE A WAY. Keep fighting. Keep being alive.
