When Success Started to Feel... Unsafe
I didn’t wake up one day thinking,
“Wow, success feels dangerous.”
That realization didn’t show up in neon lights.
It crept in slowly. Quietly.
Only made sense once I looked back.
Because here’s what I started to notice...
Every time I hit a big goal?
My body would throw a tantrum.
Sick. Shut down.
Flare-ups, colds, weird health spirals I couldn’t explain.
At first I brushed it off.
Random timing.
Coincidence.
Until it wasn’t.
Until I realized it wasn’t bad luck. It was a pattern.
Every time I grew…
my body freaked out.
Because deep down, my nervous system still thought
success = stress
growth = danger
more = threat
And honestly? It made sense.
I’d spent years associating “more” with overwork, overgiving, and wiping myself out just to prove I could handle it.
So when I finally started thriving...
my body hit the brakes.
Not because I was broken,
but because it still didn’t feel safe.
So I didn’t “push through.”
I didn’t mindset it away.
I didn’t shame myself for “sabotage.”
I got curious.
Went into the subconscious.
Traced the loop.
And found the moment it started.
That changed everything.
Now? When my body gets twitchy around success…
I don’t spiral.
I pause. I breathe.
I tell my nervous system:
“We’re safe now. This version of success doesn’t hurt.”
And it listens.
That’s the difference.
Not just awareness.
Not just “healing vibes.”
Interruption.
Of the loop.
The freeze.
The automatic shutdown that’s not “just how you are.”
You’re not lazy.
Or flaky.
Or self-sabotaging.
You’re just unregulated.
And the second you see it?
You can stop it.
That’s what HOLD is for.
Not to help you “hit new levels.”
But to help your body stop tensing every time you do.

The Income That Knocked Me Out (Literally)
The first time I hit my “dream income”...
I should’ve been celebrating.
Instead? I was blacking out mid-day.
No warning. No stress buildup. Just BOOM. Body offline. Gone for hours.
Couldn’t move. Couldn’t work. Couldn’t mom.
And that part? That was the worst.
I’ve got 3 boys. And during those months, they basically raised themselves.
I couldn’t drive. Couldn’t go anywhere without the fear of collapsing.
No beach days. No park runs. No “let’s go grab ice cream” energy.
My oldest learned to drive so he could take care of the younger ones ~
Because I couldn’t.
My business was scaling.
But I was shrinking.
This wasn’t burnout like “I need a vacation.”
This was my body declaring:
Success isn’t safe and if you won’t slow down, I’ll stop you for good.
That was my line-in-the-sand moment.
I stopped pushing.
Stopped bypassing.
And I started healing.
Real healing ~ not mindset fluff.
⚡ Nervous system regulation
⚡ Deep safety work
⚡ Rebuilding from the root
And I got better. Not just healthier. But more spacious.
I had energy. Capacity. I could play again. I could live again.
Because before that? I was maxed out just trying to hold it all together.
My body was protecting me from the growth I thought I wanted.
That collapse became the blueprint for HOLD.
Because no woman should have to wait until she’s bedridden, dissociated, or parented by her own kids...
to realize she’s been running on trauma, not trust.
You can grow without gripping.
You can lead without losing yourself.
You can build without abandoning your body ~ or your babies.
And if your nervous system is whispering “Not again…”
That’s not fear. That’s truth.
HOLD is the response.
