Hello dear friends! It’s been a year since we’ve moved into our dream home. It’s truly a haven of peace, and happiness for us both. Everything except the big palms and trees, we planted and it’s thrived! Purple Mexican Sage, roses in every color, red firecracker plants, and more. Hard to believe, but there were no paths, everything was overgrown with weeds. The only sycamore tree on the property is doing her best to turn colors for fall! Last night at 3am, I awoke to see a huge coyote walking in the backyard! He must’ve jumped the 6 ft fence, as he’s the first we have seen since installing it. My pets are always safe inside. But as you can tell, we live in the hills and wildlife is ever present. Hope everyone is doing well and thank you for your friendship and love!!❤️

Hello dear friends! Most of you are familiar with antique shell carved cameos, most of which are carved in Italy. But cameo carvers in modern day are still producing fascinating and unique pieces like these earrings here. The first are a set of large shell cameo earrings of trees, perfect for me as I love the forest! Set with sterling silver and green Murano glass beads. The second set is 14kt gold bezeled with pearls and lapis lazuli around the cameo carving of sun, moon, planets and stars! It also has a blue Murano glass bead. I collect and wear my shell cameos and appreciate the carving skills of antiquity and that of today. Do you like cameos?

Good morning dear friends! Just wanted to share a bead embroidered necklace I made years ago. I used an antique bronze medallion, thousands of seed beads, sequins, Czech glass, jasper cabachons. It is then hand sewn onto a soft metallic lamb skin leather from Italy. These pieces take many hours of labor and design and more than a month. Each piece is a labor of love.
