I’ve been growing things for over twenty years, starting with my grandmother in Louisiana. She taught me to plant seeds, and even though I forgot that lesson for a while, when I finally came back to the garden, it changed my life. It taught me patience. It taught me that you don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
