Beer and homebrewing. There's not that many of us that practice this hobby, we need to help encourage more to join.

However, if only I had time to just brew..... and share my brewing trials and errors.

In reality though, i have so much building to do in order to re-build our 150 year old farm, that my time available to brew is limited at present. As well as the house, I'm converting our steading (barn) into a home brewery, in order to get out of the house kitchen, and my current crowded brew shed.

Hopefully, I will get as much or more help from viewers, than I can provide to others, if they can see a better way of getting something done.

This is a channel about sharing home brewing knowledge and experience. I'm posting new beer recipes as regularly as I can.
If you've got any brewing tip or tricks, then please comment on the videos.

Thanks for joining me.

Brew and Build

The home brewery is coming along nicely.
The floor is epoxied, the freezer is in along with storage shelves. Plus the old fridge/fermentation cabinet is fitting in the corner comfortably.
I have the sink assembled, and we have some damage on the stainless worktop.
So mostly good 😁

Brew and Build

Well the kitchen is completely destroyed. (This has been one reason for no brew videos for a while)
That means I've finally been forced to re-vamp the "brew-room". It's now going to have to be turned into a proper home brewery.
I will try to document some of the re-fit.

Brew and Build

I've had a few enquiries lately as to whether I'm still posting beer videos.

The answer is yes. However, there's a lot been/is going on lately (including ripping out the kitchen), so video editing and beer production has been limited.

Hopefully normal operations to resume.....

Brew and Build

After a very warm spring for Scotland, the spring honey is looking good.
I guess I'll need to brew some more braggots and meads..... what a shame 😁

Brew and Build

I've just finished brewing a second batch of this Grodziskie. This beer is so good, that we've nearly finished the first batch, and I really want to have one ready for the summer months.
Something I tried differently this time, was adding the minerals in, whilst the mash water was very cold.
The chalk dissolved much more easily, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference in the final product. 🤞
