The philosophies state that enmity cannot be sorted out through enmity or hatred by hatred. Enmity or hatred can be pacified by non-enmity or non-hatred. In other words, it is only through love and compassion that we conquer enemies and hatred. Does this really work in this world?

We often ask, "Why me? What did I do to deserve this?" or "That person is such a good person. Why did it happen to her/him?"

Look into your life, from childhood to now. Look at all the setbacks and the negative phases of your life. Look into the company you keep.

Analyze how your decisions, choices, and actions has shaped the various incidents you faced and your overall life.

Can you find the connection between a past action and its subsequent result/effect?
