I have to be honest… some of the 2026 living room trends surprised me.

For the past few years, we’ve all been told to keep everything neutral, minimal, and “safe”… but that is officially starting to change in a BIG way.

Designers are now saying:

patterns are back (and not just one pillow…)
COLOR is replacing “sad beige”
and one trend at the end of this video completely flipped how I think about decorating a living room
