Nothing beats seeing a child's face the moment science clicks 🔬

I usually share science experiments on social media where parents and carers follow along with their families at home. But recently I had the chance to run hands-on workshops where I could work with kids face-to-face.

Watching their eyes light up in real-time, hearing their spontaneous questions, feeling their excitement when experiments work - you just can't replicate that energy through posts and videos. And honestly? Some of the adults looked just as amazed as the kids when the magic of science happened!

Social media lets me reach families worldwide, but there's something special about being in the room with curious minds, witnessing those 'wow' moments as they happen.

Just wrapped my first workshop in a series of workshop in the Maldives after being invited by ‪@theritzcarltonmaldives‬ to share TheDadLab’s approach to making STEM accessible for families.
It’s incredible to see how the language of curiosity is universal - watching kids light up with wonder looks exactly the same whether you’re in London or the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Grateful that what started in our kitchen has somehow reached families around the globe. Science really does connect us all ✨

Sometimes life gives you moments that feel straight out of a movie. Last night, we went to the UK Premiere of Sonic 3, and not only did we get close to the stage where all the stars were, but we also managed to take a selfie with the legend himself – Jim Carrey! 🌀🎥

Watching the film with Alex and Max, surrounded by all the energy and excitement, reminded me just how lucky I am to experience these moments with them. These are the kind of memories that stick with you forever, and I’m so grateful for the opportunities life has given us. ❤️

The movie? We loved it! A fun, action-packed adventure the whole family enjoyed. Sonic fans, you’re in for a treat. 🙌
