Welcome to Minivan Camper Gal! I'm Kelly, and I used to camp and travel in a Chrysler Pacifica, but it started having problems. Now I have a Hyundai Santa Fe, and I'm building it out to be a camper car! Here, you will find van build / car camping videos, tips on the digital nomad lifestyle, general travel vlog videos, and more. I'm into minimalism, and I eat a mostly plant-based vegan diet. I'm still learning how to do vegan van life well! I have some great vegan camping recipes to share with you, but would love some suggestions, too! Sometimes I stealth camp in the city, but mostly I like to boondock. Join me and my camper van as we embark on all the car camping adventures!

It’s called Car Camp the USA and I’m so excited about it. I’ve been putting together these massive charts comparing the interior lengths of hundreds of vehicles—so you can figure out exactly which ones you can actually sleep in comfortably.
I’m out here testing things, writing from the woods, and yes... I just discovered that one of my bed panels makes the perfect little desk when you set it on the wheel well. Who needs a table?
Can’t wait to share more with you soon—this project is coming together and I think it’s going to help a lot of people hit the road without spending a fortune.
