✨Want to feel proactive and organized at work? Here's the truth: Systems save sanity.
In this video, I’m giving you a few reasons why I rely on simple, repeatable systems to stay organized, focused, and energized—even when work is hectic.
As a working mom, healthcare leader, and coach, I used to chase every task like it was urgent. That led to constant burnout and reactive leadership.
But once I implemented systems—for planning my week, managing my team, and prioritizing what actually matters—I started showing up as the calm, confident, strategic leader my team needed.
Here’s why I use systems:
✅ They reduce mental clutter
✅ They create clarity around priorities
✅ They give me space to be present—at work and at home
✅ They help me lead instead of just keep up
If you're tired of spinning your wheels and want to finally feel in control of your day, your workload, and your leadership style, I created something just for you.
🎯 Join my Get Organized at Work Blueprint course and learn the exact tools and routines I use (and teach!) to create a sustainable, organized work life. No fluff—just practical, proven strategies.

Take your time ☀️As soon as we got to the cabin for the first time this year, we unloaded the kids who were excited to see gramma. I was able to head down to the lake to catch a glimpse of the sunset and greet the water - "hello lake."
One of my favorite spots in the world. When you get there, you take a deep breath and just feel calm. It's a sanctuary of sorts. We're privileged to visit here. We don't take that for granted.
As a manager, I work with a lot of leaders and professionals who have places like this or have their own favorite sanctuaries.
But they don't go.
They feel bad about going and taking time from work.
They complain that they don't go enough.
I get it. It's hard to "get away." As a mama of 3, sometimes it feels like even on the weekends, I don't get any breaks. Or the work piles up while I'm away if I take time turning the week. Or days off that I plan for myself turn into calls from school to come get one of the kids because they threw up.
Even if there is not a perfect opportunity to get away, it doesn't mean we shouldn't try or that we don't deserve it.
On your day off...
- Questions will continue to come to your inbox.
- Decisions will continue to be made.
- You to-do list will remain how you left it or grow.
People usually tell me that the work "piles up!"
And while that is true, things go-on, you too must go on.
If we don't take time away from work, our work will feel like it's piling on us.
When we take days off or plan time to do something else that lights us up, we give our brains and bodies a break.
We come back able to tackle that pile and proactively manage it.
We realize that the work will go on, and so must we.
And I get it, vacations aren't always 100% re-invigorating - like I said, the 3 kids makes it hard to get rest while on vacation.
But your mind, body, and heart need space to be. Yes, to just exist. To be you not at work.
So take your time...
...off.
...working through the work.
It will all happen in time as it needs to.
➡️Look at your calendar this week, and ask yourself:
"What would it look like if I took some planned days off here and there?"
