I wasn't planning on discussing #AlexReadsTarot but what do you know, some contextualisation might be useful and I haven't seen anyone commenting on this great conversion talk about it, so here is where my train of thought went...

You all need to watch this and understand that if your witchcraft doesn't include and thinks of disabled witches, it's not intersectional, it's oppression. And can you imagine more of an oxymoron than an oppressive witch? They are just cosplaying witchcraft.

I'm chuffed to announce that an extended version of this essay will be published in an anthology about disability rights activism in Italy by the end of the year. It was kindly translated by the editors and I will publish the full version on Substack later in the year.
My immense gratitude to @sofia_righetti for thinking of me and bringing me into this project.
This will be the first time some of my social commentary and cultural critique is published in print, so it means the world to see in not just writing to unload all the dots my brain connects. I hope it helps simplify the world for everyone so they can take action to change it.
