Daniel - I got to say once again, he is a little dumb... Why was he holding back in the first place when the situation requires his utmost attention as someone can die bcz of his recklessness...

Not Saying Johan is stronger than him but he's a lot better than Daniel in terms of keeping his aura maintained.

Anyways after getting some beating from that Walmart Elite, he folded him and then enters The Butcher - "Damn" his mere presence made the chapter peak... Daniel is ofc gonna lose bcz he's tired and damaged, Jinyoung is the one who's at test here "how well he'd perform before getting killed... ☠️"

I was hoping for a fair fight of Daniel vs Kitae but we aren't getting it... Daniel has seen Kitae killing ppl yet he jumped on him despite being fatigued - blud is genuinely too brave.. Jinyoung will have to save him and Eugene now cuz he's he only one in good condition, who knows he might go crazy after seeing Kitae...

With the chapter hivescans posted one more chapter as 597.1 in which they talked about the constant complaints and criticism from fans...

And let's be real - we are really doing too much criticism for something which we are getting free of cost... They are also humans, just think you worked on a chapter for hrs and posted it in your website where many many users visit daily and in return you get to see them talking about taking down the website {reddit}

Yeah, the chapters are late {a bit too late} but if they could have post it earlier then why wouldn't they and not to mention Lookism isn't the only Manhwa they work on...

{They made me feel bad after reading it even though I didn't say anything about them lol 🥲}

I was so hyped up to just imagine they are gonna fight but that damn phone call ruined it all...

Crystal said Charles told him to call stop Gun but why didn't he called himself - PTJ genuinely wanted us to think Charles and James are the same person {I'm glad the chances of this theory being true is low right now bcz I want James to be a unique individual not just second body of Charles}

Their fight has to happen in future and I can't freaking wait for this but I'll have to as who knows this will happen after how many years - BTW how long do you think Lookism is gonna be..? It has already succeeded 600+ chapters and there's still lot left to be shown.. In addition new characters and their own story keeps getting introduced in the main story {not saying I don't like them}, I guess, it'd be 1000-1500 chapters by the end of series.. {At this rate}

Let’s start with the hate Vin Jin gets for no real reason at all.

The most common excuse ppl will give you is “He’s a bully. He bullied Duke for no reason for so long.”

And ofc, he’s a “bum” because he got defeated by someone stronger than him.
Like Zack didn’t get an even more humiliating defeat against Ansan No.2 in the past?

But who remembers that? Somehow Vin Jin is the only one who gets permanently labeled a bum.

Now about hating him because he’s a bully…Are we serious chat..! About 90% of the Lookism fandom dickrides a literal sociopath/psychopath murderer who ruined multiple lives just for fun of the game and we’re drawing the moral line at a bully?

As a character, yeah — he’s trash. I agree. That’s a valid reason to not like him. But that’s not a reason to hate him..

Let me explain with my own example. I don’t like Eugene {never liked him}, same with the 1st Affiliate former president {damn traitor}, and a few more. But I can’t say I hate them, because I like even more evil characters like Gun, Kitae, and James.

If I say I hate Eugene because he manipulated people and ruined lives, then logically I should hate James and Elite too — because they’ve done far worse. If I hate former 1st affiliate president for betraying Eugene then I should hate Goo and Samuel too but I don't..

That’s my point {don't be a hypocrite}

People sympathize with Gun because he had a terrible childhood and was shaped into a sociopath by his environment and the characters around him. But the same people refuse to accept that Vin had an even worse childhood than Gun where he had to face a humiliating and traumatic act done on himself on daily basis..

His disrespectful and self-centered personality? That’s literally what helped him survive. Cursing everyone, acting nonchalant, being aggressive. That was his coping mechanism to all the trauma he was facing..

Until he met Seongji, he never even had a real chance to improve. And even then, he chose not to abandon that personality.
And honestly? I can’t fully blame him.
Personality isn’t something you just switch off because your environment changes. When you grow up a certain way, that personality becomes part of you.
Even if you want to change, it feels awkward, it feels forced and almost cringe.
So yeah, Vin choosing to stay the way he is makes sense.

As character in terms of strength then unpopular opinion — but I think he’s around Vasco level even now. From the very beginning, the narrative framed certain rivalries..
Vasco – Vin
Jake – Samuel
Gun – Goo

I believe in obvious narrative parallels more than random, non-comparable feats

So how strong do you think Vin Jin is in present..

In the future, he’s definitely going to be in top 5 of 2nd Gen at least. He just needs proper guidance or a real training arc.

Most likely it’ll be some genetic awakening-type power shit — which I’m not a huge fan of, because random genetics boosts feels just stupid to me. But since everyone is getting them anyway, one more won’t make much difference...

Welcome back to another part of “Lookism Community in a Nutshell.”

I don’t use YouTube, Reddit, or anything Lookism-related that much lately. But whenever I do, after almost every single chapter I see the same damn thing..

“PTJ sucks" “He doesn’t know how to write” “Trash writing” yada, yada...

And it’s happening after this chapter too.

So let me ask something — what kind of stupidity is this?

You keep reading his manhwa every week, yet you say he doesn’t know how to write. If you genuinely have that much of a problem with a fictional story, then just stop reading it. No one is forcing you.

Let me be very clear:
You don’t have a problem with PTJ’s writing. You have a problem with the fact that he isn’t supporting your biased, hypothetical agenda about certain characters.

Half the community doesn’t even read properly. Half of that half are explanation-watchers. Yet somehow they have the audacity to call the author of multiple successful manhwas and the CEO of PTJ Studio — someone who “can’t write.”

That’s honestly ridiculous.

Now that I’ve vented, let’s talk about the actual context.

First of all Daniel didn’t lose and second, the black-outfit guy wasn’t some random fodder.

He was the strongest in Changsu’s sidekick squad. (Though, he still would have probably lost to Mandeok at around high diff since he’s not important enough narratively to beat a crew-head level character.) He momentarily overpowered a holding-back, base-mode OG Daniel. After that, Daniel folded him fair and square with low to moderate effort.

When the other three jumped him, Daniel used his Path. He dodged effortlessly, scanned their weaknesses, and attacked their weak points. If that wasn’t enough, he even went for another attack. If you remember his fight with Paecheon Jo, you’ll know this..

- Dodging doesn’t drain Daniel’s stamina or damage him internally. What drains him is the counterattacks he uses to strike weak points.

Yes, I agree — it was unnecessary to use those heavy counterattacks on these guys {In front of him they're legit fodders}

But it’s possible Daniel was testing his Path. He even said he trained so much yet still couldn’t use it properly against multiple opponents. That means he was experimenting mid-fight.

It definitely wasn't a smart decision considering how dangerous the situation was..

And since, he didn’t expect the internal damage, Changsu caught him off guard.
And honestly I loved how Changsu fights.
No one can properly scale this guy. Daniel wasn’t fully down either. He literally said he still had energy left for Changsu. He just underestimated his opponent — and got brutally punished for it ☠️

This doesn’t damage Daniel’s reputation neither it damage Changsu’s reputation. It’s a very common narrative method to avoid a full fight in order to protect both characters’ reputations.

Be honest
- If Daniel would have won, people would’ve called Changsu a fraud after all that buildup.
- If Changsu would have won, people would’ve spammed Daniel slander everywhere.

Avoiding this fight this way was probably the best decision.

Now, Jinyoung Vs Changsu regardless of who wins, it’s digestible.

Changsu was being built up for Tom Lee.
Jinyoung is roughly near Tom’s level.
So this matchup makes sense.

- If Jinyoung wins, it’ll definitely be high to extreme difficulty as Changsu still hasn’t shown his true strength.. so far he’s just casually killing people.

- If Changsu wins (again high to extreme diff), then Jinyoung is probably in serious danger.

I'd say not to look down on Changsu just yet. He doesn’t fight fair. He’s here to kill. He’ll use any means necessary {He's seems eviler and uncensored version of Goo}

Now putting everything aside don’t you think Daniel is slowly becoming like James? {talking about his conscious and OG body as I'm 200% sure 2nd body is related to James somehow}

A few weeks ago, I asked who’s stronger: Path James (who ended 1st Generation) or Path Daniel?

I think we have our answer now.

Until Daniel fully adapts to his Path and stops damaging himself internally, he’s basically a weaker version of James — at least in my opinion.

Thank you for reading all that yapp.. Sometimes I wonder why do you even read all this cuz I wouldn't be reading it if I were you tbh {I'm too impatient for that} but since you read it so here it is...

And don't you wonder how the hell does Changsu knows every gen 0 guy in person - he has beef with Tom, he seemed to know how powerful Paecheon Jo was, he knew pre gen KOI moves and now Jinyoung and Changsu have met before...

Who do you think is winning "The White Crow" or "The Mirror King"

I have a feeling that Jinyoung will be dying in this fight either by Changsu or Kitae {in case Changsu loses and Kitae shows up}

I was initially disappointed by the black-outfit dude because he got bullied by Daniel {I actually liked him the most among all of Changsu’s sidekick}. But in the end, he did his part well. He was the strongest among them just as I wanted..

And Changsu… damn.
Let’s be real — in the entire history of Lookism, he might be the only character who fights the way a killer should realistically. He’s not playing around. He’s just focused on completing his mission, no matter what.

And I freaking loved that.
He acknowledged Daniel, even glazed him a bit — and then immediately immobilized him bcz that fight could have been avoided blud could have literally kill the MC in an instant.

Just think how much potential Goo has if he stops playing around his opponents...

And Daniel still has the weakness "With great power comes great Weakness" ah moment.. 🥀
