Worker's 2nd Affiliate got cooked so terribly..... Characters are actually dying like wtf "Kenta is dead..!?"
And Black Workers - poor guys are dead without even revealing their faces... {I genuinely feel sad for them - they just came to help}
At this rate this arc is gonna have the most death count and it has just started... I think it's time Allied and Big Deal comes for help otherwise workers are absolutely cooked.
Expectedly J survives the attack by barely dodging it but what the heck - look at the damage... Tom quite literally made his cheek bone visible... ā ļø {I don't even wanna imagine what would have happened to J if the punch would have properly connected to his head...}
And just a reminded there was a time when ppl were saying "Seongji can defeat Tom" "Jinlang can defeat Tom" "Tom or pre gen glazers needs to see the ground"
Here Tom actually on screen no - low diffed a Jaegyeon Na level character (or above KOI level)
Just Imagine the strength of Gap and Shingen who have defeated prime version of this Beast... ā ļø
Poor Lineman doesn't even know that Gentleman has killed his master behind his back... I'm just waiting for him to find it out - Dude has to be the one to take down Gentleman...
BTW I was wondering lately if Reporter Kim even care about Tom or not like if you read MK manhwa forget it even in Lookism ā Tom tries too hard for her (which is natural like just look at her) but she ignores him every time like he doesn't even exist. Now that she finally mentioned that she do acknowledge Tom's effort so there is some chances that she also loves Tom... {I just feel bad about Tom}
You know what ā I genuinely feel like this was the best version of both Gun and James.
Letās start with Gun.
Many people like the current version of Gun, and thatās fine ā everyone has a different POV. Iām just expressing mine. {I needed to clarify this beforehand so some smartass with two brain cells doesnāt call me a Gun hater, yk.}
When I started Lookism, Gun instantly came in my favorites because of how he fought and was represented.
He comes in {in the most badass way possible}, aura-farms, destroys everyone, aura-farms again, and leaves. And I loved it every single time. In fact, I used to wait for his appearances. But after the Hunt for Big Deal arc, he just didnāt feel like the same Gun anymore. Gun used to feel invincible ā but in the Hunt for Gun Park arc, even Vasco and Zack managed to damage him and make him visibly express pain. That honestly shocked me.
The Gun I loved was the one Goo talked about ā the Gun who never dodges, who believes in his own invincibility and blocks every single attack. In the Hunt for Gun Park arc, Gun dodged multiple attacks and took insane damage from 2nd Gen characters. I genuinely couldnāt believe my eyes.
Even his power-up was introduced in such a trash way that heās still being called āPlot Parkā, getting slandered for surviving impossible injuries - neck slashes, fighting with a broken hand perfectly, knocking out SB UI Daniel with an almost dead body⦠like how?
Ironically, in trying to make Gun look more badass, I feel PTJ did more harm than good to his character. {fan service went wrong}
- The Hunt for Big Deal arc Gun was the - Gun everyone respected. - The Gun whose fighting style made him rival Gooās weapons. - In one word, this version of Gun was Badass.
Now, James.
Many people like the black-haired James, and thatās okay ā itās your taste. Iām just expressing mine. Personally, I donāt find black-haired James very appealing yet {I hope this changes in the future}.
But the red-haired James? - The level of disrespect this version has received is insane.
You canāt fully blame readers - he was titled untouchable, yet he got touched, even overpowered for a moment. Some trolling was inevitable. But it crossed the line when people started creating their own manhwa just to maintain agendas. Some people still believe Seongji was stronger than James, which is honestly funny to me.
- Despite clearly seeing a fully grown adult King, a student of the supposed rival of the strongest in the verse, get obliterated by a teenage James ā whether 2 Mastery or 3 Mastery ā to the point that he himself admitted James' growth rate was higher than his own⦠people still say Seongji was stronger..
Presentation-wise:
- Red-haired James was a growing-stage James ā overconfident, cocky, active, and menacingly interested in bullying others. "ended first Gen in this version"
- Pink-haired James was a grown, mature version ā always holding back massively, a true ādevil in disguise.ā
- Black-haired James feels like the r Pink haired version slowly revealing that inner devil.
Power-wise, pink-haired James and black-haired James are almost equivalent, but pink-haired James carried a constant sense of mystery. He felt so strong that we didnāt even know how strong he really was. All we knew wasāhe was overwhelming against anyone, even SB UI Daniel. The presentation of pink-haired James was absolute peak, in my opinion.
If you look at it overall, youāll notice how beautifully both Gun and James fought in the Hunt for Big Deal arc. Gunās fight here especially defines exactly the Gun Goo talked about ā truly āInvincible.ā
They had so many parallels. I was insanely hyped for their fight, but when Charles called Gun off, I honestly felt robbed.
Now, some out-of-topic stuff :
If Charles and James share the same consciousness, then James intentionally avoided the fight as it was unnecessary, and he needed Eugeneās trust to find Jinyoung without doing much. But if theyāre different people {which I hope is true, because otherwise Jamesā character development becomes meaningless}, and James genuinely betrayed Charles ā then Charles kind of saved Gun here.
Still, why didnāt Charles show up himself? Everything involving Charles and James feels way too fishy.
One more thingāafter Gunās TUI was introduced, people act like TUI is his only strength. Like dude - Base + adrenaline UI Gun can still give a solid fight to James, Kitae, and Goo. PTJ would obviously never let all of them go full power from the start bcz thatās just how it works. For example Gun doesnāt activate TUI mode from the start.
After Kitaeās introduction, Gunās feats have started getting outclassed a bit too much by multiple characters. A King like Jinlang having feats relative to Gun (not TUI Gun, of course) feels wild. That said, Iām really glad PTJ is giving Gun a power-up in prison as Gun needed it to stay at the top.
Thatās everything I wanted to say. Let me know if you think Iām wrong anywhere ā and which version of Gun or James is your favorite.
Everyone in Workers (except for the red haired guy) is cooking... And did Eugene really named his new fighters "Black Workers" - it sounds soo odd.. ā ļø
I find it very disheartening how negatively Tom is talking about his fate.... Seems like he really is gonna die... š
Tom is my fav pre gen member from the very start and seeing him like this makes me sad... too sad...
And now that you guys have started to spectaculate about Ryuhei's death - it also seems possible... ā ļø {I hope no one dies but I also know someone is gonna die...}

Both reasons for my inconsistency lately.....
1. Studies
2. This little creature

I was little late in reading the chapter and hell it was peak.
Tom quite literally became Shingen 2.0... This is straight up Shingen level brutality not Kitae not Shintaro but Shingen...
And the police guy "J" dude is not dead, is he..!? He farmed aura so good, he can't die with just one hit..
