Let's start with what actually happened and please correct me if I'm wrong..
- Jinyoung attacked Kitae with Gen 0 characters moves and it did nothing on his favor till he started copying Shingen
- Shingen's attacks being more deadlier than the ones from other Gen 0 gave Jinyoung a ground to do some damage which he did but he was using his left hand for that bcz his right hand was hurt already... Which most likely caused some decrease in AP
- Kitae went to KO him by slamming him on the ground with his KO punch but Jinyoung deflected his punch and went for the same KO moves but with Gap's conviction {I have absolutely no idea how he copied conviction as it's not something anyone should be able to copy}
- He used Gap's conviction punch with his damaged right hand which ofc caused some decrease in AP but he went for it anyway bcz he thought it should be enough to KO him but he was wrong
- Despite getting hit on the same spot which was already damaged by path Daniel attack he woke up again with just some blood on his face.. He took damage from the weakened conviction punch but it wasn't very significant which everyone can be seen claiming it was significant for some reason {please elaborate your definition of significant damage - I'd like to see why your definition is working only here}
- Then we see Changsu yapping about the thumb effect and Kitae was visibly pissed at him for trying to do something so pointless.. Here please think why Kitae said it pointless, it's bcz he saw it as disrespect towards himself, he is confident in his physique, he thinks he can tank even fp conviction attack of Jinyoung and I also belive he can {dude quite literally tanked Daniel's path attack whose weaker version if enough to kill a top tier character, you think he can't tank a copied conviction attack 🥀}
That's why this whole thumb thing was pointless and unnecessary bcz it didn't add up anything in the chapter... It just unnecessarily nerfed Jinyoung which wasn't actually necessary. If Jinyoung wasn't nerfed then he could be able to perform that Gap's conviction attack at fp and he'd have been able to do more damage on Kitae that'd have been Jinyoung upscale and Gap's upscale while Kitae would have still survived that attack and it'd have been Kitae's upscale but we got nothing bcz of this thumb thing...
Moreover this thumb thing gave Kitae haters some content to hate him, now you can see some ppl saying Prime Jinyoung can beat Kitae, Kitae got saved by Plot, some don't even understand this thumb thing properly {compared it with Seongji's sixth fingers} and started glazing Jinyoung and hating Kitae bcz it fits in their agenda.. For some blood effect after each attack means Kitae was getting significantly damaged... 🥀 {after reading all this I'm actually having doubt have they even read the Manhwa before or they just jumped in this arc after watching explanations..}
Anyway Jinyoung did better than expected, he could fight back to Kitae at some extent thnx to his copy ability which is anyway a Jinyoung upscale cuz now we know he could have done better against SB UI Daniel but he intentionally didn't cuz of SB UI Daniel's copy ability {he knew the more he'll fight, the bigger disadvantage he'll be in...}
And it's not Kitae's downscale either as remind you it's just base mode of Kitae, he hasn't used his path {unless the despair thing is his path}, he hasn't used his masteries combined which is a general trend for every top tier...
And that's it tell me what do you think about this chapter..
The only time when Vasco decided not to hold back... And absolutely destroyed Ansan's No 2...
I think Vasco have much more potential if he gets trained by a conviction user like Jinlang as he has everything a conviction user needs to unlock and use conviction at its finest..
Where even is Reporter Kim that it's taking this long...!
PTJ might just offscreen Gentleman and his gang and Tom might spawn right in the big fight but I doubt he'll be able to give his best cuz he himself is damaged already {Thnx to his habit of unnecessarily tanking unnecessary hits - after all he's the one who taught Goo & Gun, how to be a menace..}
I'm actually interested in Tom's reaction after he sees Changsu... ☠️
There are actually two possibilities of who this 'dream guy' could be...
1. Daniel from the future - guiding his past self in the path to pinnacle.
2. SB Daniel own consciousness - who used to live as a person in SB before Daniel miraculously got control over it.
Which possibility do you believe in...?
If you ask me then I have always leaned towards the 2nd possibility as EOS Daniel guiding his past self doesn't quite make sense to me..
I wonder how many chapters it will take to reach James Lee past arc as all this is directly or indirectly connected to James Lee and Charles - cuz I don't think Jinyoung has good odds of surviving this arc and revealing the secrets...
How is Eugene surviving this arc...? Kitae is pretty straight forward in what he has to do {Kill Eugene} and Eugene has no one left to protect him aside from Jinyoung...
Poor Eugene, I don't like him much but I pity him - dude has lost everything he had in just 1 day...
That was quite an interesting conversation - build-up for Kitae's past...
I wonder if Kitae will fall in ragebait of Jinyoung cuz Jinyoung isn't going easy on him with words.. I hope Kitae leaves Jinyoung alive for the sake of their past relation or for any other reason cuz If Jinyoung dies then who's gonna reveal the secrets of Gap's death, two bodies & Daniel's father...
This has to be one of the most brutal beating {if not the most} anyone has ever gotten so far in the entire Manhwa..
Kitae's normal extremely holding back attacks could knock SB Daniel and Zack like characters and Daniel has survived numerous attacks like that and multiple strength mastery powered attacks of Kitae... 🙌🏻
The punch which KO Jinlang {with full body weight and momentum} - Daniel took it behind his head in an abnormal angle and he isn't dead.. 🫥
How the hell he hasn't gotten endurance mastery yet - just how high even is his threshold...

This path attack definitely did some good damage to Kitae - aside from the dark red bruise his left eye got half red from the impact..
Remind you this punch nearly killed Paecheon Jo and this guy survived it without showing any sign of pain and just this much injury...
