Hello Booktube! I have not posted videos lately, not because I am in a reading slump, but because I am in a video making slump. See that pile of books? That’s what I’ve read recently and there is not a bad one in the lot. And the two I am currently reading are great too.
I will post the next two videos in my series of me unpacking my library. They were filmed a few weeks ago, though the editing was done more recently. And after that, hopefully I will have my filming mojo back.
Happy People April everyone! Here is my pile of possibilities for the event: royals, artists, explorers, a hare and many more possibilities that don’t fit in the photograph. 😁
I will film a video as soon as real life and jetlag allow me to do so. In the meantime, happy reading!
I learned something interesting today: if your videos average more than 41 views, you are one of the top 50% most viewed YouTubers. If your videos average more than 130 views, you are in the top 30%. That means I know a lot of very popular people! 😁
🥳 I have reached the unofficial snowflake ❄️ level (10 books) of the Read What You Own Challenge! And if I decide to count in pages instead, I am about 20 pages away from the halfway point. That’s a whole month without buying a book. It’s a first for me since joining Booktube. 😁
Alexandra is just a few subscribers away from 500. Her videos are artful gems filled with books, food, gardens, and beautiful places in and around Paris. Cozy atmosphere guaranteed. Watch one video and you’ll want to watch them all. In this video, Alberto Manguel, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Orhan Pamuk, rose tea, illuminated gardens in Chaumont-sur-Loire, and more.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Framed! in September. You made this new event a resounding success! We’ll try to do it again next year. Thank you to my cohosts Greg@anotherbibliophilereads, Lindy @lindysmagpiereads, Hannah @HannahsBooks and Heather @heathergregg9975. Heather made a playlist of all the videos about Framed! Check it out if you want more videos on books and arts. youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy...
