These photos are incredibly misleading. are not always 100% straight The photos were taken directly after the service was done but when these people wash their hair, I guarantee their hair is not this straight and shiny and if it is, the person had to do at least 20 passes with the flat iron at 450°. This is a different type of hair straightening and it used acid and a different type of product than the Japanese hair straightening. There are so many textures of hair where this type of product is great and then there are textures of hair that the Japanese is great. It takes a lot of experience to tell the difference between the two and which hair needs what there are so many variables.
