So....

I have a confession to make.

The animatic is not done. I have the scenes sketched out and a rough draft of the animatic done. But when I went to do it on digital, the stylus for my drawing pad decided to break. I still have the one year warranty, thank god, but the stylus won't be here for another month for whatever reason.

But, I have been working on some other things. My finals are coming up so I have been studying for those. I have been drawing a little bit more and kind of perfecting a certain style that I will share later.

The two most exciting things though I haven't been able to share with you but now I can!

First, I am writing a book! I have the first draft done and am currently going back through and fixing any grammar issues I find and changing a few things if they don't make sense. The genre of the book is going to be Christian Fantsy/ Sci-fi which I am really excited about. And my goal for it to be completely finished is probably around Christmas of this year. I will post more about it during the summer when I finish all of my tests.

The second is, I am helping a friend start a YouTube channel! We met through Epic the Musical in September after the Wisdom Saga had just come out and we sort of bonded. She is an amazing artist and animator and I think you guys are going to really like her.

So yeah, that's my news of the month. I currently have nothing until my new stylus gets here, but I'm not doing this long of a post and not showing you guys anything.

One of the new hobbies that I have discovered that I love is making pot holders! I am OBSESSED with making these. I have five right now and am currently working on more.

Good news, I might have a new video out today or Saturday! I am working on it as fast as i can but i want it to turn out good and i have a really bad cold right now, but I will post a sneak peek of it tomorrow!

So I went to a really fun party Friday for Halloween. So instead of the animatic (and for my channel's one year anniversary which I forgot about. My bad!) would anybody want to see drawings of the costumes that were at the party?

So I think instead of doing inktober and posting everyday, I am going to post the progress on my halloween costume as I get it done. I have already got some of it done so I will share that here.

1. I made a sort of template for the prop because I don't think anyone has made this exact cosplay before. But that means I get to customize it however I want! There were a few design options for the prop, so I just combined a couple I liked and made a pattern from notebook paper.

2. I put the patterns on cardboard and cut it out ( I couldn't find the third pattern piece. When I will do I will update the photos.) I cut two for the bottom/base piece, two for the middle piece and put one on each side of the base, and then I cut four of the smaller ones and cut about 2 inches ( rough guess) off of two little ones for extra depth and detail. Then I hot glued everything together.

3. I found a old flag pole that wasn't being used and disassembled it, cut a piece of cardboard and cut slits in it to make it bendy and wrap around the top, and finally hot glued it to the pole and shoved the cardboard pieces in the tube. I also hot glued the pieces before I stuck them in so it would be a bit more durable. (Excuse my messy floor. This is taking a toll on me.)

That's all I have done so far, but I will keep updating until i get it done, or when halloween gets here.

Also, comment what you think I'm going as! I will give a shout out to whoever can get it! (I don't know if I told Mary's SketchBook or not. If I did, please don't tell them what it is but if I didn't, I apologize for my brain not working and feel free to take a whack at it! :) )

Last thing I promise!

To answer three questions:

My favorite oc: I would probably have to say it's a three-way tie between my two main characters and a side character. Clelia, the main character in something I'm writing. She looks at everything logically and doesn't act rashly which is what I love most about her. Thaddeus, who is just a loveable goofball. He LOVES messing around with Clelia and making her mad every chance he gets (which she secretly enjoys.) He is always the one you can count on to be at your side when you need someone the most.
And then Pandora, the side character. Pandora is a very interesting character because I made her to have a disability, which in some ways is a disadvantage in her world. She couldn't do a lot of the things her brother could growing up. So, she decided to tinker around a little and made something to help with her disability. Pandora never gives up and always finds the best solution to a problem, and is always looking to help others with similar conditions, and that is what makes her in my top 3.

Favorite game: Of all time, definitely Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. I played that game so much growing up that I ended up beating the game six different times. I loved the free range style on it and that there were little side quests outside of the main storyline.
My current game however is Super Smas Bros. Ultimate. I was introduced to it last year by some friends and absolutely fell in love with it. I played the Nintendo 64 version growing up, so this was a whole new thing for me, especially with it having 8 times the characters that the old one had. My main player is Zelda because I was SO excited when I found out she was a playable character.

And now my favorite music genre: I think EPIC the Musical is required to be it's own genre, right? If it wasn't before, it is now. I started realizing that I have been a musical theater kid all of my life when I started listening to this because I was obsessed with all of the Descendants movies, all of the Zombies movies (Although I have not watched the third one YET.), Into the Woods, The Greatest Showman, and more recently, Hamilton the musical.
So now I am owning it.

And also, I feel bad for asking this, but does anyone remember who tagged me to share a Bible verse?
I remember seeing it, but I thought I was dreaming for some odd reason and I brought it up to someone and they was like, "No, that actually happened."
So now I am trying to find out who did and I feel so bad so please let me know if you find who did and I will re-post with a Bible verse. Thank you!

So uh... hi.

I know it's been a while and my two months break is almost up. I do have some things lined up
( Most of them are going to be EPIC. ;) ) But I do want to share a hint at what I am doing for my one year channel anniversary and kind of vent a bit.

So, I am doing a couple of animations for my anniversary and I have been working on it for about two weeks.
Or, had.
So I went to go log onto my laptop yesterday and I had to clear up some space so I could receive emails because I am working on something and have to have enough space so that a party could respond back.
So I did that on my phone and had to re-log into my account on my phone and everything was fine.
And thanks to googles stupid location check, it logged me out of my account on my laptop, and deleted EVERYTHING.
Including the animations that I have been working on for TWO WHOLE WEEKS.
I have never been more upset at Google. It's safe to say Google nearly went out the window.
So now, I have to start at square one and get both animations done in a little over a month.
So, bear with me. I do have some things that I'm uploading in the meantime though.
Yeah, I am excited and nervous too because I want to do a Livestream on Halloween night and broadcast the animations live and I need to figure out how to do that.
