کہاں سے لکھنا شروع کروں اور کیا لکھوں…
جب بھی آپ کے بارے میں سوچتی ہوں، الفاظ ہمیشہ کم پڑ جاتے ہیں۔
کبھی کبھی اللہ تعالیٰ ہماری زندگی میں ایسے خوبصورت انسان بھیج دیتا ہے جو ہماری زندگی کا صرف ایک حصہ نہیں ہوتے، بلکہ ایک **خوبصورت باب** بن جاتے ہیں۔ آپ بھی میری زندگی کا ایک ایسا ہی خوبصورت باب ہیں۔
زندگی کے کچھ باب اتنے خوبصورت ہوتے ہیں کہ انسان کبھی نہیں چاہتا کہ وہ ختم ہوں، مگر شاید ہر چیز کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے… اور پھر ہمیں اسے اللہ کی مرضی سمجھ کر قبول کرنا پڑتا ہے۔

آپ کی **wisdom، insightfulness اور intelligence** نے مجھے ہمیشہ بے حد متاثر کیا۔ زندگی کے بارے میں آپ کے جتنے سوال تھے، شاید آج بھی ان سب کے جواب تلاش نہیں کر پائی۔

**انسان اتنی تکلیف کیوں سہتا ہے؟
آزمائشیں اتنی زیادہ کیوں ہوتی ہیں؟
زندگی بعض اوقات اتنی مشکل کیوں ہو جاتی ہے؟**

مگر آپ سے میں نے ایک بہت قیمتی چیز سیکھی—**اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ ایک مضبوط اور مثبت تعلق۔**
شاید یہی وہ سبق ہے جو کسی بھی کتاب، کسی بھی لیکچر اور کسی بھی جواب سے بڑھ کر ہے۔

آپ کا ایک خواب کتاب لکھنا تھا…
آپ شاید وہ خواب مکمل نہ کر سکے، مگر شاید زندگی نے مجھے یہ موقع دیا کہ میں آپ کے اس خواب کا ایک چھوٹا سا حصہ مکمل کر سکوں۔
میں نے دس کتابیں لکھ کر آپ کے اس خواب کو اپنے انداز میں زندہ رکھنے کی کوشش کی ہے
اور شاید اس سے خوبصورت خراجِ عقیدت میں اپنے استاد کو کچھ اور دے بھی نہیں سکتی۔
آپ میری زندگی میں ایک استاد سے بڑھ کر ایک ایسی شخصیت رہے ہیں جس نے مجھے سوچنا سکھایا، سوال کرنا سکھایا اور سب سے بڑھ کر زندگی کو ایک مختلف نظر سے دیکھنا سکھایا۔
اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو ہمیشہ اپنی رحمتوں کے سائے میں رکھے۔

The conference at Lahore Leads University on **“Good Governance and Rebuilding a Collapsed System”** brought together political leaders, analysts, and intellectual voices for a thought-provoking and meaningful discussion on the challenges facing Pakistan’s governance and institutions.
The participation of **Asad Umar, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Mustafa Kamal, Nadeem Afzal Chan**, and other distinguished speakers made the discussion particularly insightful, with diverse perspectives on governance, institutional reform, political responsibility, and rebuilding systems.
It was a truly outstanding discussion that raised important questions about where we stand today and, more importantly, what needs to be done to build a stronger, more effective and sustainable system.
