🔹 Balance Mode v1.0.2 Update The new Balance Mode v1.0.2 will be applied. Here are the detailed changes compared to the previous version: [Changes from v1.0.1]
- Nishikawa [Thunder Spike]: Sliding pierce power increased from 80% ➔ 90%.
- Raul [Beast Spike]: Sliding pierce power increased from 80% ➔ 90%.
- Sara (WS) [Calm Before the Storm]: Speed reduction is now applied at 30%, and the activation duration is reduced to 50% of its original time.
- Common Balance Change: Starting sliding protection for all players is decreased from 150 ➔ 140.
🐞 BUG FIXES

The content mode Nightmare Arena will be receiving a rework.
Nightmare Arena was originally designed as a challenging mode where players lead a team of randomly selected athletes, repeatedly choosing new players and abilities while progressing through a series of consecutive matches. However, during development prior to release, we decided to prioritize the value of players owned by users and adjusted the system to provide greater freedom in team building. As a result, players were able to fill their roster with only their preferred athletes, but we felt this created some distance from the gameplay experience Nightmare Arena was originally designed to deliver.
This rework aims to preserve the value of players owned by users while better bringing out the randomness and enjoyment of making choices that Nightmare Arena was originally designed around. As team-building restrictions become more important, we have made various changes across multiple systems to reduce the burden of the early stages and provide a clearer sense of progression throughout each run.
We hope these changes will help Nightmare Arena stand out as a more unique and engaging game mode.
This update is scheduled to be applied on June 24 (KST). Please note that any Nightmare Arena run currently in progress will be reset when the update is implemented.
The exact update schedule will be announced in a future maintenance notice.

• Most effects that previously activated based on chance will now activate whenever their conditions are met.
• Activation conditions and effects have been simplified, and overall effectiveness has been increased.

• Players will now be able to build a deck by selecting 30 or more Dream Shards from those they own and choose which deck to use when starting a Nightmare Arena run.

• A new "Dream Shard Reroll Count +1" upgrade item has been added to the Arena Point Exchange Shop.
• The "Dream Shard Reroll Count +1" upgrade item grants one additional free Dream Shard reroll for each copy owned. Any unused free rerolls are reset at the start of each round.

※ In versions before 7.3.109, Balance Mode v1.0.1 may not work correctly even if selected. Please update to the latest version to use this mode properly. 2. Improved scoring celebration animations.
3. Added Sliding Resistance, Penetration, and Endurance.
4. Added Blocking Resistance, Penetration, and Endurance.
5. Added a Block Cancel action.
※ Block Cancel can only be used after at least 5 frames of the blocking motion. If the ball touches the player before the hands are fully pulled back, it will be treated as a normal block.
6. Added 2 new block touch animations. (We will continue adding more animation variations in future updates to make matches feel more dynamic.)
7. Improved the music and background audio in the Western Event match.
■ Bug Fixes
1. Fixed an issue where the ball would drop straight to the ground when receiving a spike with Sliding Penetration using a slide, even when the player had high Defense.
2. Fixed an issue where hitting another player's serve toss did not count as a rule violation.
3. Fixed an issue where Dave's trait description was displayed incorrectly when his skin was equipped in the Player Collection screen.
4. Fixed an issue where Hongshi's [Tiger Claw] trait could stack, causing the Fierce Tiger trait to not reset properly after activation.
5. Adjusted the positioning of hair items in the Costume screen to make them appear more natural.
6. Fixed an issue where the roulette screen could appear after a Western Event Match ended when the network connection was unstable.
7. Fixed an issue in Serve Training where points could be earned by hitting the serve toss.
■ Sliding Endurance, Resistance, and Penetration Details
1. The Sliding Penetration value of spikes with the Sliding Penetration trait is now displayed in more detail.
2. Ryuhyeon's Sliding Penetration was previously equivalent to about 45 based on the old bounce calculation. It has now been increased to 60, allowing the ball to deflect farther when received with a slide.
3. As rallies continue, Sliding Resistance gradually decreases, allowing even normal spikes to gain some Sliding Penetration effect.
4. Sliding Resistance decreases by approximately 1 for each touch. (Example: A normal spike would need around 60 touches to reach the same Penetration value as Ryuhyeon.)
5. The rate at which Sliding Resistance decreases is inversely proportional to Sliding Stability.
6. Sliding Resistance starts at 0 in normal matches. In League, Practice Matches, and other special game modes, the starting value may be higher or lower.
Formula: Sliding Effect Value = Sliding Penetration - Sliding Resistance
- If Sliding Resistance becomes negative, even attacks with 0 Sliding Penetration will gain a penetration effect.
- The distance the ball is deflected after a slide is primarily determined by the Sliding Effect Value.
In addition, Defense is applied separately and can further reduce the ball's horizontal speed by up to 33%.
■ Blocking Endurance, Resistance, and Penetration Details
1. Similar to Sliding Stability, higher Blocking Stability further reduces the power of a spike when performing a soft block.
2. As the rally continues, if this value becomes negative, the ball will travel farther after a soft block. This effect is applied independently from the power reduction caused by Defense.
3. There are currently no spikes with a dedicated Blocking Penetration trait.
■ Balance Mode v1.0.1 Details
1. All players now start with 50 Sliding Resistance.
2. Wing Spiker Sara – [Tempest Lash]: Swing range reduced to 85%.
3. Wing Spiker Sara – [Gust]: The distance covered by the instant air movement has been reduced. (It has been replaced with jump movement.) The maximum height remains the same, but it now takes longer to reach it.
4. Nishikawa – [Thunder Spike]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.
5. Raul – [Beast Spike]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.
6. Lucas – [Helios]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.

📢 Nightmare Arena Rework Notice

Hello,
The content mode Nightmare Arena will be receiving a rework.
Nightmare Arena was originally designed as a challenging mode where players lead a team of randomly selected athletes, repeatedly choosing new players and abilities while progressing through a series of consecutive matches. However, during development prior to release, we decided to prioritize the value of players owned by users and adjusted the system to provide greater freedom in team building. As a result, players were able to fill their roster with only their preferred athletes, but we felt this created some distance from the gameplay experience Nightmare Arena was originally designed to deliver.
This rework aims to preserve the value of players owned by users while better bringing out the randomness and enjoyment of making choices that Nightmare Arena was originally designed around. As team-building restrictions become more important, we have made various changes across multiple systems to reduce the burden of the early stages and provide a clearer sense of progression throughout each run.
We hope these changes will help Nightmare Arena stand out as a more unique and engaging game mode.
This update is scheduled to be applied on June 24 (KST). Please note that any Nightmare Arena run currently in progress will be reset when the update is implemented.
The exact update schedule will be announced in a future maintenance notice.

■ Dream Shard
• Most effects that previously activated based on chance will now activate whenever their conditions are met.
• Activation conditions and effects have been simplified, and overall effectiveness has been increased.
• A limited-time shop has been added to the Arena Point Exchange, allowing players to unlock Dream Shards.
• Players will now be able to build a deck by selecting 30 or more Dream Shards from those they own and choose which deck to use when starting a Nightmare Arena run.

• During a Nightmare Arena run, only Dream Shards included in the currently selected deck will appear in random selection options.
• All players will be granted 30 basic Dream Shards.

■ Reserve Players & Guest Players
• The reserve roster must now be filled with 5 players for each position before a Nightmare Arena run can be started.
• 4 Guest Players have been added for each position. Guest Players can be used in Nightmare Arena regardless of whether you own those players.

• Guest Players will be updated every two weeks. When the Guest Player lineup is updated, all Nightmare Arena progress will be reset.

■ Permanent Upgrade Changes and Additions
• The "Dream Shard Activation Chance +10%" upgrade item previously sold in the Arena Point Exchange has been removed.
• Players who previously purchased the "Dream Shard Activation Chance +10%" upgrade will receive a refund of the Arena Points spent via in-game mail.
• A new "Dream Shard Reroll Count +1" upgrade item has been added to the Arena Point Exchange Shop.
• The "Dream Shard Reroll Count +1" upgrade item grants one additional free Dream Shard reroll for each copy owned. Any unused free rerolls are reset at the start of each round.

■Gameplay Adjustments
• The duration of naturally occurring conditions in Nightmare Arena has been reduced.
• At the start of each rally in Nightmare Arena, the Stamina recovery granted to the team that scored will be further reduced.
• The maximum Stamina loss your team can suffer at one time has been adjusted according to the selected difficulty level.
• On DRIFT and DOZE difficulties, opposing players will attempt fewer spikes targeting the end line or areas near the net.
• The stats and abilities of certain opposing players have been adjusted.
• New opponent teams have been added.
• Stages 1 and 2 of each round have been changed to first-to-3-point matches, and rank score requirements have been adjusted accordingly.
• Replacing a player when selecting a Dream Shard will now grant an additional Dream Shard.

■ Bug Fixes
• Fixed an issue in the Counter Receive rule where receiving while in a blocking state would always result in a Perfect Receive.
• Fixed an issue where the shadows of certain players were not displayed correctly when using Experimental Graphics settings.
• Fixed an issue where the Arena Point icon was not displayed in the mailbox.

Version 7.3.109 Update Note
Hello,
We would like to share the main changes included in Update 7.3.109.
The update is currently pending review on the App Store and Google Play. Please note that it may take some time for the update to become available on all platforms after the review process is completed.
■ New Features
1. A new Balance Mode v1.0.1 has been added to Practice Match.
※ In versions before 7.3.109, Balance Mode v1.0.1 may not work correctly even if selected.
Please update to the latest version to use this mode properly.
2. Improved scoring celebration animations.
3. Added Sliding Resistance, Penetration, and Endurance.
4. Added Blocking Resistance, Penetration, and Endurance.
5. Added a Block Cancel action.
※ Block Cancel can only be used after at least 5 frames of the blocking motion.
If the ball touches the player before the hands are fully pulled back, it will be treated as a normal block.
6. Added 2 new block touch animations.
(We will continue adding more animation variations in future updates to make matches feel more dynamic.)
7. Improved the music and background audio in the Western Event match.
■ Bug Fixes
1. Fixed an issue where the ball would drop straight to the ground when receiving a spike with Sliding Penetration using a slide, even when the player had high Defense.
2. Fixed an issue where hitting another player's serve toss did not count as a rule violation.
3. Fixed an issue where Dave's trait description was displayed incorrectly when his skin was equipped in the Player Collection screen.
4. Fixed an issue where Hongshi's [Tiger Claw] trait could stack, causing the Fierce Tiger trait to not reset properly after activation.
5. Adjusted the positioning of hair items in the Costume screen to make them appear more natural.
6. Fixed an issue where the roulette screen could appear after a Western Event Match ended when the network connection was unstable.
7. Fixed an issue in Serve Training where points could be earned by hitting the serve toss.
■ Sliding Endurance, Resistance, and Penetration Details
1. The Sliding Penetration value of spikes with the Sliding Penetration trait is now displayed in more detail.
2. Ryuhyeon's Sliding Penetration was previously equivalent to about 45 based on the old bounce calculation. It has now been increased to 60, allowing the ball to deflect farther when received with a slide.
3. As rallies continue, Sliding Resistance gradually decreases, allowing even normal spikes to gain some Sliding Penetration effect.
4. Sliding Resistance decreases by approximately 1 for each touch.
(Example: A normal spike would need around 60 touches to reach the same Penetration value as Ryuhyeon.)
5. The rate at which Sliding Resistance decreases is inversely proportional to Sliding Stability.
6. Sliding Resistance starts at 0 in normal matches. In League, Practice Matches, and other special game modes, the starting value may be higher or lower.
Formula:
Sliding Effect Value = Sliding Penetration - Sliding Resistance
- If Sliding Resistance becomes negative, even attacks with 0 Sliding Penetration will gain a penetration effect.
- The distance the ball is deflected after a slide is primarily determined by the Sliding Effect Value.
In addition, Defense is applied separately and can further reduce the ball's horizontal speed by up to 33%.
■ Blocking Endurance, Resistance, and Penetration Details
1. Similar to Sliding Stability, higher Blocking Stability further reduces the power of a spike when performing a soft block.
2. As the rally continues, if this value becomes negative, the ball will travel farther after a soft block. This effect is applied independently from the power reduction caused by Defense.
3. There are currently no spikes with a dedicated Blocking Penetration trait.
■ Balance Mode v1.0.1 Details
1. All players now start with 50 Sliding Resistance.
2. Wing Spiker Sara – [Tempest Lash]: Swing range reduced to 85%.
3. Wing Spiker Sara – [Gust]: The distance covered by the instant air movement has been reduced. (It has been replaced with jump movement.) The maximum height remains the same, but it now takes longer to reach it.
4. Nishikawa – [Thunder Spike]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.
5. Raul – [Beast Spike]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.
6. Lucas – [Helios]: Sliding Penetration set to 80.

7.3.103 Version Hotfix Notice
Hello,
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issues that occurred following the recent update.
To address the reported problems, we have applied an emergency fix and submitted the improved version, 7.3.103, to the stores.
The update is already available on Steam and Google Play Store. The App Store version is currently under review and will be available once the review process is complete.
Bug Fixes
-Fixed an issue where sound effects would still play upon entering a match even when all sound options were disabled.
We will continue to strengthen our testing and quality assurance processes to provide a more stable and reliable gameplay experience in future updates.
