There may not be fireworks.

There may not be dancing penguins in tuxedos.

There almost certainly won't be a brass band descending from the clouds on parachutes.

Although I'm not ruling any of those out entirely.

✈️ Right, folks I'm taking a brief detour from YouTube and will be away for just over a week.

I'll be back on 28 June for my Sunday Song, premiering at 15:00 UTC
(16:00 BST⏱️).

No lost luggage🧳, no delayed connections and thankfully no need to sprint through an airport terminal just a short stopover before we're back on schedule.

Until then, keep the engines idling, the playlists spinning and try not to redecorate the departure lounge without me.

If you hear rumours that I've been spotted sipping tea in a secret mountain monastery, conducting orchestras on a Mediterranean yacht, or attempting to teach seagulls four part harmony, I can neither confirm nor deny them.

Normal service resumes on 28 June. Until then, consider me temporarily out of office and somewhere between Gate 13 and my imagination.

I can hardly believe it, but tomorrow marks one whole year since I posted my very first song on YouTube. It's been a wild ride, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

For those of you who’ve been with me from the start (or even just hopped on the ride yesterday), you’ve made this journey something unforgettable. Each comment, every like, every emoji has kept me going, kept me writing, kept me staying here in the best way.

Your support means more than I could ever put in a song. Though, trust me, I’m about to try.
