Ok so, I have been posting 1 video a month since April 2023. I have loved it a lot but to be perfectly honest, I'm starting to feel burnt out. For the first few months, I used to chug along and produce the videos with great efficiency but as time progresses, I can feel it becoming harder. I don't like it as much anymore and it's becoming more of a chore.
With the exception of the Orion & Scorpio video, every video has had a smaller & more contained subject as well. You may have noticed that Judges hasn't had a new video since August and that's because of the amount of research the later half of the series requires. I have great videos planned but I don't have the time to dedicate to Judges because I feel the need to keep up with the monthly schedule.
I'm fortunate my livelihood doesn't depend on making YouTube videos and my heart goes out my peers who do have YouTube/content creation. I want to like making videos again so for the time being, after March I will stop uploading monthly videos.
The channel won't stop all together, it's just instead of 12 videos a year, there will be less. How many? I'm aiming for 2 a season, maybe more but hopefully not less.
The patreon will still get to know the next video ahead of time but the reveals will be more spaced out. I will also provide updates for how far along in the process I am.
TL;DR- Monthly videos are stopping for me to focus on quality rather than quantity and recover from burnout.
