Finally got around to filming and editing another relaxing cinematic car wash video! The last one seemed to be well received, so thank you. As requested from the last one, I've added some music in the background this time.
One of things I like about making these kind of videos is I get to slow down and practice my color grading. Hope you get something out of it as well and find it relaxing!
WRX Update: The car is currently running into some performance issues similar to last year. I'll talk about more and hopefully address it in my upcoming videos.

The local shop said I was too low so we are back at Kraken Motorsports to finally get an alignment! (Except this time at their new shop with a dedicated show room).
Current rear camber is at an aggressive -2.75 and front is -1.3. I’ve heard ideally you want more camber in front for better cornering, so I’m thinking once I get the LCAs, I’ll aim for -2.5 front, -2.0 rear.
Overall, I’m glad I finally got to do it so I can finally relax and enjoy driving knowing the toe is straight. It was cool seeing the new shop and probably taking it here in the future for anything I can’t do myself! 🤙🏼
Also, I didn’t think this was the case, but the tech said I was in fact pretty low 😂

Today, I have a small upgrade but it turned out to be a big difference! Just installed some LED turn signal bulbs for my headlights to go along with my other LED bulbs in the interior and license plate light. Overall, it was a simple and easy install.
I didn't realize until editing, but I apologize for it being such a short video. Going to make sure the next one will be longer!

Update on the Discount Tire situation:
The location that damaged the lugs said there wasn’t enough evidence to say it was service-related, even with photos and timestamps from shortly after service. I asked what would count as good evidence, and they said it’s hard to say, but it would need to prove DT did it. So I guess I needed to be on the service floor with gloves and goggles on recording the whole thing 🥲
They did offer $100 originally, but took it away since I was asking too many questions instead of accepting. Thankfully, I am able to replace them myself.
As for the first DT that damaged some center bores on my wheels, they offered either refinishing or replacements. Since the wheels are on backorder and the damage will be covered by center caps anyway, I offered to just take a $400 refund and they agreed initially. I’m now told it’s in review.
I’m just ready to move on and enjoy these new wheels. Easily one of my favorite things I’ve done to the WRX so far, and I’m not letting the DT experience ruin that!
Just wanted to give the conclusion to this saga if anyone is curious 🤙 Going to rest my brain this weekend and will be back with more videos next week.

I've been dreaming of this for years. The new wheels are FINALLY on my WRX! I've actually had them on for almost 2 weeks now, so I am excited to finally share it. I think the wheels changes the look dramatically, and makes the vision I have for this car feel like it is starting to come together. Despite the headaches with Discount Tire (I'll explain in the video) and this recent stressful work week at my regular job, it was worth it.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, and I'm loving this stage of the build even though we still have much to do.
