I've been wondering how many people who watch my crochet videos use the closed captions/subtitles. Please let me know if you use them or not so I can plan accordingly. They take extra time to edit so they're accurate (for better understanding and accurately translating into other languages while watching).

I hope everyone is doing well and you had a wonderful Christmas/holiday season. I'm sorry that I've been absent for quite a few months (I think since July, actually). In October, my husband and I moved to a different house after living in the same house for 26 years! It's been a big adjustment and we're almost to the point of being organized again, so we should be able to start making more crochet videos for your enjoyment and education very soon. Thanks so much for being patient with us!
I'd like to tell those of you who are aspiring or new crochet designers that I'll be teaching an online class for CGOA (Crochet Guild of America) on January 19 and 26. The class is called "Let's Get Writing" and the focus is on teaching newer crochet designers how to write crochet patterns accurately. If you struggle with writing your crochet patterns, please join me in this online class to learn everything you need to know to successfully write your crochet patterns for self-publishing or for selling to crochet publishers. For more information about this class, including the dates, times, cost and topics covered, check out the CGOA website here: www.crochet.org/page/ProfDevelSession. The last day to register for this class is just a week away, so don't put it off! If one of your New Year's Resolutions is to learn to write crochet patterns, register for this class today!

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
Wow! It's been 6 months already since I started my YouTube channel and there are over 1,000 of you who have subscribed to my channel! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! Crocheters are the best!!!
I have a TON of crochet videos that I'm planning to bring you in the coming weeks/months/years, if all goes according to plan. I couldn't do these videos without the help and support of my husband (he's the "technical guy" behind the cameras and the video editor - I'm just the "crochet talent"!). Thank you so much, honey (Jim)! You're the best!
To find out more about you, my subscribers, I have some crochet questions for you.
What kind of crochet videos would you like to see in the future?
What crochet techniques do you enjoy?
What crochet techniques would you like to learn?
Do you enjoy CALs (Crochet-A-Longs)?
Would you like to see me host some CALs on my YouTube channel?
Please let me know your answer(s) in the comments section below.
Thanks so much for your support. It's great to be able to share what I've learned about crochet with you and to learn from each other!
Happy crocheting to all of you. May God bless you with good health and keep you safe in 2021 (and beyond).
