A podcast and actual play series exploring the sprawling caverns of gaming, hidden treasures of geekdom, and the unexpected intersections of reality. We talk #DnD, #Fallout #CyberpunkRED, #Scifi, #Fantasy, #Technology, and whatever else our geeky brains focus on.

We're editing our "d10 Reasons Fallout 2d20 is Great" episode.

Captions have been pretty clean this time around but ...

Debbie Plane != Demiplane

"Remember to take your rat away" != "Remember to take your RadAway"

Get that edgerunner in your life a shiny new vehicle with R. Talsorian's The 12 days of VehicleMAS!

We particularly like the Dayton Sky Queen:

"The regal ruler of the North American skies! Comfort, safety, and convenience
combine to offer the finest in transcontinental transport. The Sky Queen is
simply the greatest way to travel from city to city – high above the blighted
badlands below!"

Progress Clocks plugin for #ObsidianMD, which Ken is definitely using in his #DnD game tonight.

What's your favorite Shadowdark adventure / module?

We're gathering ideas for a future episode, and would love feedback from our community.

Obviously, we're partial to Raiders of the Hidden Temple, but there are a ton of other options out there.

We love using the note-taking app Obsidian for our campaigns.

Obsidian TTRPG Tutorials offers a bunch of tutorials on how to use the app with your own campaigns. The "getting started" section talks about how to use and organize the tool, while plug-in tutorials review add-ons that can enhance your installation.

There are plug-in tutorials, active support for a number of games (D&D, Pathfinder, Stars With Number, Daggerheart, etc.), and random projects (3D Tomb of Horrors, Map Room).

The teaser trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is out. Gotta love this intro:

David's dead. But Night City lives on.

The Elder Froghemoth. Even bigger, badder, and uglier than the original.

Nerdarchy's has a write-up about using it in your campaign (which Ken may borrow parts of for his next Greyhawk '76 adventure)

In "Torch Rings for Shadowdark", Ken shows how to use 12" metal rings to represent torchlight.

It works great at the table, and the concept will work for any game where line of site is limited by darkness, fog or other effects.
