What is common sense?
আমরা ঈশ্বর দেখিনি কিন্তু বিশ্বাস করি তিনি আছেন নিরাকারে সমগ্র সৃষ্টি জুড়ে। এটাইতো কাণ্ডজ্ঞান।
কিন্তু যার এই কাণ্ডজ্ঞান নেই, নাস্তিক তাকে ঘৃণা করাও কোন কাণ্ডজ্ঞান নয়।জ্ঞান অতি অবশ্যই জরুরি কিন্তু কাণ্ডজ্ঞানও কম জরুরি নয়।
প্রতিষ্ঠানের বড় কর্তারা অনুষ্ঠানে এলেই বলতে শুনি আমরা হলাম অমুক একটা পরিবার।
এই কথাটার মর্মার্থ আজ অবধি বুঝতে পারিনি। কেউ যদি এই প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক পরিবারতন্ত্র বিষয়ে নাড়াচাড়া দিয়ে রাষ্ট্রযন্ত্রে এর ভূমিকা এবং কর্তার
স্বভাব ও মনোবৃত্তিক আচরণ নিয়ে সৃজনশীল আলোকপাত করতেন
তবে খুবই উপকৃত হতাম।
আজকের সময়ে পরিবারতন্ত্র যেভাবে আমাদের সমাজ ও গণতান্ত্রিক প্রতিষ্ঠান, রাষ্ট্রকে গ্রাস করেছে।
সাংস্কৃতিক আবহ তো গুণী ও জ্ঞানী জনের লালন ব্যতিরেকে এমনটা কখনো করেনি। তবে কি রাজনীতিকে অর্থনৈতিক দুর্বৃত্তায়নে ব্যবহারই সামাজিক অধপাতের মূখ্য কারণ বলা যেতে পারেনা?
স্বাধীনতার সূর্য্যটাকে ছিনিয়ে আনতে যারা দিয়ে গেছে প্রাণ, কিন্তু সেটা কি কারো

মায়া ছায়া পুষ্প প্রীতি
এ-ই হলো গে মামার বাড়ি।
আমটি খেতাম জামটি খেতাম
কাঁঠাল খইয়ে দুধের বাটি।
মায়ার জগৎ শেষ হয়েছে
নেই যে চাঁদের আলোও
শূন্য ভিটেমাটি, এমন কি আর
আছে কেউ জ্বালবে প্রদীপ বাতি।
নেই যে  আজকে শোলক বলা
কাজলা দিদিটাও, দুই নয়নের জলে
ভাসা পদ্মদিঘির ঘাটে, স্বপ্নের মতো
আজও কেন ছবি হয়ে আসে।
সবাই কেমন ছুটছি কেবল তারই পিছে
যেথায় যার যেমন-তেমন স্বার্থ আছে।
মামার বাড়িই আমার বাড়ি এমনটাকি হয়!
বুঝতে হবে এমন হলে মামাই তোমার নয়।
সময় একটা ছিলো, যখন এলো হানাদার
থরথরিয়ে কাঁপছে পাড়া,
শুনশান নীরবতা
বুকে কাঁপন দেহে বল,
বাঁচতে হবে আশা
জঙ্গলেই মঙ্গল ভেবে পালালো মেয়েরা।
তবুও ছিলো ভয় পাছে কিছু দোসর
মৃত্যুর চেয়ে সম্ভ্রমই মূল পরিচয়।
সম্ভ্রম বাঁচাতে সেদিন পালিয়েছে যারা
মৃত্যু হাতে তারাই সেদিন বীর ভোগ্যা
বসুন্ধরা।
এক নদী রক্তের দাগ মুছে দিয়ে
করেছে যারা দোকানদারি, নিজ স্বার্থে
আবেগ হয়েছে তাদেরই যতোসব বাটপারি।
