The collective is holding a lot these days. Some lives are experiencing a heavier burden than others. Yoga reminds us that there is nothing separate. People in power want us to believe in the illusion of separateness so that we can be more easily controlled.

Practicing yoga is a not a solution to the problems in your life or in this world. Yoga is a tool. A tool of resistance to protect our minds from being swayed and distracted from our innate oneness.

February’s practice theme is about moving from a place of center. The highs and lows of existence are always going to rise and fall. Yoga teaches us that when times are tough, hold to center. When times are good, hold to center.

When we move from center, we act with greater integrity, compassion, and steadiness.

Let us move individually AND collectively, from a place of center and resist the forces that aim to keep us separate.

Sending peace and love,
AL♥️🌹
